STUDENT LEADER ROLES

  

MARKETING (2 VP, Members) / Application

Encourage new membership, coordinate classroom and outdoors tabling, build membership to record levels, and connect with campus clubs and partner groups to promote attendance. Publicize, promote, create excitement, build attendance at events, design material, social media content and updates, and implement strategies, and graphic design. This team essentially grows our leadership scholar program both in terms of members and active participation.  

 

OPERATIONS (2 VP, Members) / Application

Organize, plan, and coordinate all “Meet the Executives” events (4 per semester). In charge of introducing or coordinating Leadership Scholar board members interested in introducing the executive speakers for each “Meet the Executives” events. In charge of creating PowerPoints for “Meet the Executives” events. Handles day-of technology and IT during “Meet the Executives” events. In charge of the setup, clean up, décor (balloons, banners, table cloths, and room arrangement), and setting up catering for each “Meet the Executives” event.

 

HUMAN RESOURCES (2 VP, Members) / Application

Develop and retain membership, benefits administration, scholar communications, identifying and recruiting talent, overseeing graduation requirements, orientation, and professional development.  Track engagement of scholars for scholarship administration in partnership with the Center’s Events and Programs Coordinator. This team oversees all communications to leadership scholars, clarifies all graduation requirements and monitors status of scholars. Engagement scores are generated for all scholars, based on participation at board meetings, attendance at events, community outreach, etc. This team will work closely with the Center’s Events and Programs Coordinator and head up all of “HR” for the leadership scholars program.

 

COMMUNITY OUTREACH (2 VP, Members) / Application

Set up partnership and placement with community partners for Scholar mentorship programs, assist in program development and tracking, and promote volunteer opportunities.  This team will plan, promote, and market volunteer and community outreach opportunities for leadership scholars and will track participation and community impact.

 

LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT (2 VP, Members) / Application

        Develop and Plan Leadership Development opportunities for students. This team will poll scholars and identify topics for leadership development and career preparation and then will work with the Director to schedule speakers to train scholars. This team will market development opportunities for the leadership scholars program. Social events for the leadership scholars program will also be planned by this group.

EMERGING TITANS BUDDY PROGRAM (2 VP, Members) / Application

Oversee the Emerging Titans Buddy Program, a one-semester mentorship initiative that pairs current CSUF student leaders with incoming freshmen to support their transition into college. Responsibilities include recruiting mentors and mentees, coordinating check-ins, and assisting with overall program implementation. Work closely with the Program Specialist: Student Programs and Events to track participation and provide support and resources to mentors. This team helps foster connection, guidance, and early engagement for new students entering the Titan community.
