  • Honorable Mention, Neeraja Nagarajan - Radiation therapy and survival in soft tissue sarcoma: Results of a study using the Surveillance, Epidemiology and End-Results Program (SEER).
  • Honorable Mention, Ho Lam Tang - The apoptotic cell death process is reversible.

Poster Presentation Awardees:

  • 1st, Salem Noureldine - The Impact of Surgical Volume on Racial Disparity in Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery.
  • 2nd, Anna Blice-Baum - Heart-specific overexpression of FOXO ameliorates performance decline through enhanced UPS processing in aging Drosophila.
  • 2nd, Monika Deshpande - Accumulation of Hypoxia Inducible Factor-1a in Retinal Cells in Response to Acute Hypoglycemia is Necessary for Survival.

The above fellows were awarded travel awards to support upcoming conference attendance. Online/low-residency Science Writing Program. Postdocs have multiple options for gaining training, including a Master of Arts degree (9 courses), a Graduate Certificate program (5 courses), and individual classes.
