Some of the influence that effect from China are not really come straight from China. Some were come from China through Korea. Korea was divided into three kingdoms for most of history, these three kingdoms were called Goguryeo, Baekje, and Silla. Every kingdoms were all spreading Chinese ideas into Japan. Also the location of Korea and Japan was very close, so it’s very easy to import different cultures from countries.

The most time that the Japanese got effected by China was the Tang dynasty which was about 608 to 907. Japanese sent monks, scholars and musicians to China.
