Garrett’s Trying Not to Get Too Excited: MKP Returning to SC2?
“According to e-sports officials, he has temporarily stopped practicing LoL and started to practice SC2 in order to qualify into the SC2 Pro League 2. Recently he has been ranked 18th in Grandmasters, more than enough to enter the qualifiers for Pro League. He is also steadily increasing his streaming time as well (he was already streaming SC2?).”
“An e-sports commentator has said that from observing MarineKing's practice, his unit control hasn't changed much since he switched to LoL. The same commentator believes his return to SC2 and into Pro League would greatly benefit the latter as well.”
“In last year of October, Marineking switched to LoL and was recruited as a backup for Prime's team . However, since then, he hasn't played in any of the broadcast events for the team. He will be the 4th player to return to SC2 from LoL following sC, Puzzle, CoCa.”
According to an official from Prime: "If MarineKing returns to (Prime), it'll be a a boost to the team, but no decisions have been made"

Hey guys new to the podcast, heard of it from listening to Garrett on the angry chicken podcast. Love both shows keep up the good work. So basically I decided to pick up starcraft once again. I played as Zerg back in WoL, and was placed in gold this time around I chose protoss. And placed in bronze which is fine I was rusty. And learning a new race, been playing pretty consistently for the last month.
And yet I am unable to compete with majority of protoss and terran players. Zerg I have no problem with for some reason I am able to forge fast expand and hold off any early pressure with my amazing mothership core and once I get out colossus it's gg. But pvp an pvt I am
Constantly losing been on a 8 game losing streak in bronze >.<. Hoping you guys could give me any advice or tips to help. I was starting to think maybe protoss was just bad vs terran but after listening to last weeks episode clearly it's the player haha. Thanks again guys any help would be greatly appreciated.

What do you guys think of the current state of the in-game chat/group/clan system? I find even with the improvements through the numerous patches, it’s still junk and pointless. Ok, finally we can make our own groups, and the StarCast group was born. Does it help me at all? No. Nobody is in the chat window, however 16 members are (currently) logged in. Then the system says “too many members (330), so we can’t display them”. What’s the point of the group system if you can’t even display the member list, or even see the currently logged on members!
SC seems to be taking the quick routes and never finishing anything 100%. Examples:

I'm listening to 179, and you were saying that a lot of people haven't seen any difference yet. I'm happy to say that it took only two wins to get to gold league after many seasons in silver.
I agree with Garrett that the leagues don't really matter, but it was really frustrating to know that I was getting better without ever seeing the results.
