ART CONTESTS and EVENTS at Enloe

Every year Enloe participates in a variety of art contests from local up to the national level.  Contests are a great way to earn money, get recognition, and build self-esteem.

Below are some of the contests we will be participating in in the 2016-2017 school year.  Updates with specific dates will follow.

ALL YEAR

Masterpiece of the Month - Students compete amongst themselves for local recognition on the loedown, bragging rights, a certificate, and for art supplies.

Sparkcon-downtown Raleigh.  Sidewalk drawing competition 9/16-17

Art club competes for to retain the winning title.

October 

Paint the Page -October 2nd 1-5pm Held at the Page-Walker Museum in Cary Ca$h prizes for fast life studies. $100 for best in show, and 5 $50 prizes given.

NC State Fair -13th-23th

-Prizes; ribbons, rosettes, plaques, and money.

Wake County Board show

Several artists selected to represent ENLOE at a county art show for the Wake County School Board- runs the month of October at 5625 Dillard Drive, Cary (Crossroads building)

Scholastic-One of the biggest most prestigious art competitions.  Starts regional, selected few make it to a national level. Deadline 12/17/16.
