Westby Area Middle School

Students are asked to store a cell phone or any other electronic device with SMART capabilities off and out of sight during the academic day; out of sight may include in a locker per discretion of grade level staff members . Cell phones or SMART watches cannot be used in the school building at undesignated times during the school day unless permission is given by a staff member.  If a cell phone is used during the day without permission, it will be taken from the student and placed in the office for a designated amount of time. The school is not responsible for the theft or damage caused to such items belonging to students.
