Terms:
SC = Single Crochet

SC2T = Single Crochet 2 Together

Ch = Chain

DC = Double Crochet

SS = Slip Stitch

DCBLO = Double Crochet Back Loops Only

(m) = This marks that you have approached the center toe where we are keeping the stitch marker. Take the marker out, make your stitch(s) and place the marker on the new center toe stitch that you have just made.

Materials: Worsted Weight Yarn (I used Caron Simply Soft)

Newborn: E Crochet Hook (Size 4/3.5mm),

3-6 months : G Hook (Size 6/4.25mm)

Scissors, Yarn Needle, Button for the center of the flower (optional), needle and thread if you are using a button. 3 Stitch Markers.

Size: Newborn size The sole is 3 ¾” long x 1 ½” wide. The boot is 1 1/4” tall. The ties are 17” long to wrap around the angle more than once.

3-6 Month old, Sole is 4 ¾” x 2 ½”. The boot is 1 ¾” tall. The ties are 19”

Notes: The pattern works from the soul to the top of the foot. Working in the round with a (slip stitch, chain 1) at the end of each row.

We will have a stitch marker kept at the center stitch of the toe to make the decreases very easy at the end. It will be taken out and replaced in each new row. I will write “Place marker” and that means to take the marker out of the former rows center toe stitch, make your stitch(s) in the space you took the marker out of and replace that marker in the new center stitch that you just made.
