Hurricane Sandy was a tragedy to The tri-state area. But one of the situations especially affected many people. The tragedy all started when the mother, who lived in Staten Island, left the home with the two kids, Brandon, 2 and Connor, 4 when she noticed how dangerous the storm was going to get. She was on her way to her mother’s house when a wave came and hit her car. She then got out of the car and ran to houses to see if she could go in to them for safety. Before she could find a house to go into, a wave comes and takes away the kids from her arms.

They were found about 20 yards apart at around 10 a.m. by cops in wet suits using shovels and pitchforks to clear the thick brush. My Father is friends with the husband and father of the wife and kids. He has told me, that he was the one who got the call from the police that his children were missing. They were trying their best to get over the Verrazano bridge because they were in Brooklyn at the time of the hurricane. Cops found the boys about 30 yards off the corner of McLaughlin Street and Father Capodanno Boulevard, law-enforcement sources said.
