IEW Writing Course: Following Narnia Volume 1

Grades 6-8

Using the first three novels of The Chronicles of Narnia® (The Magician's Nephew, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, and The Horse and His Boy), this series of 31 lessons beckons students to experience the enchanted land of Narnia through structure and style. ASL  American Sign Language 1 (Beginner)

Presented in an easy-to-use format, this class includes learning objectives, visual aids, thought/discussion questions, culture and grammar notes, games, ASL sign illustrations, fun homework projects and more. The lessons teach vocabulary, grammar and Deaf culture applied to real-world dramas. Cultural Geography provides a survey of geographic principles through a regional approach. Students will "travel" from continent to continent around the world studying the geography, cultures, landforms, climates, resources, economy, religions, and government of each country.  Exploring Creation with General Science:

This course includes a history of science, the scientific method, and how to design an experiment. Subjects covered include simple machines, archaeology, geology, paleontology, biology, and human anatomy and physiology.
