- Have the children answer the following questions: Who told Mary she was going to have a baby? Who are the members of the Holy Family? Where did Mary and Joseph go? What was the wonderful news the angels had for the shepherds? Why is Jesus our wonderful gift from God?
- Distribute popsicle sticks, glue, flannel.
- Have the children place sticks to create a stable. From construction paper cut trapezoid shapes and rectangles, then help the children glue to down for manger. Next, place flannel on the manger and add fingerprint to make the baby. Finally, add a star to the scene.
