Incomplete and Late Homework policy due to illness or other dire life circumstances

Incompletes:

An incomplete will be issued only for missing homework due to missed classes in the last weeks before the final, and for missing the final. (This means the week before the final and for the weeks leading up to the final, working in reverse from the final.) If you are in class in the week before the final, your homework is due at the final. It is up to you to initiate the incomplete process.

Late Homework:

► While attending class, homework is due as scheduled, no late homework will be taken. The reason for the strong policy is you are taking this program to become employed. Late work is not acceptable in industry and therefore not accepted in the program as well.

• Exceptions: Advance notice with instructor approval

► Since the class is being taught virtually, communication is important. There will be Zoom meetings and sessions of which will be recorded. There will be office hours available as well as individual meetings if requested.

► If you have questions please ask Ric.

• If you miss a class, email (costinr@linnbenton.edu) Ric at your earliest convenience. This is just to let him know you are ok and will be back but there are difficulties.
• If you need a little more time or an exception, you can request an extension with Ric.

• Have your work plan and due dates written down in proposal form, in advance.
