- Help the children identify the photos.
- Help the children identify word and point to the first letter, and ask: Do you know this letter?
- Explain game.
- Place cards face down on table.
- Help the children take turns looking for matcher, turning over two cards at a time. Making sure the child says the name of each vehicle.
- Read “The Little Engine that Could.”
- Ask: What kind of vehicle was the story about? What did he do? What happened to him? How was the shipment delivered to the the children who need the goods?
