Hotel Anglo-American, via Garibaldi, Firenze

May 15 1930

My dear Philip,

You have to have entirely forgotten Ol Vilmos! I quite understand that you must be frightfully busy but will you ever write a postcard? Can’t you write?

Firenze is perfectly beautiful; the Pitti and the Uffizi – I would like to spend my life in the galleries – and still, I am thinking of leaving soon – the relaxing climate and the nourishment  [illegible] poor – will oblige me to find another country to live in. I am very disappointed but I don’t feel [illegible words] in the relaxing [illegible]

Love to you all and do let me have news.

Old Vilmos

[Across the side of the postcard] Longing to be at Littleworth Corner!
