By paying a down payment, you are hereby agreeing to my Terms of Service (TOS) and agree to abide by these rules and regulations.

Refusal of any rules here will terminate your commission.

TO COMMISSION

You must be of 18 years of age or have adequate parental permission if you get before commissioning me. I will be in contact with the guardian / parent throughout the process. Please note that younger customers will most likely outgrow their pieces by 18 years of age.
A 3 point view reference or anything similar must be provided for an error free process, if one is not available I can assist (for an art fee dependent on requirements).
You must own the character being commissioned, it cannot be copyrighted or closely representing something else without permission.
I will always provide WIPs! These are never denied as one change made would need approval of the customer.

PAYMENT

Aspexofsalt requires a 30% Non-refundable down payment as this payment purchases supplies.
PAYPAL ONLY
Payment plans are available but must be paid within 6 months of first downpayment unless discussed otherwise.
No work will be done until full payment is made. Delays in payment will result in due dates being extended.
Missing of 3 payments will result in cancellation of the commission and forfeit of the down payment will be made and the remainder will be returned.
If your commission becomes forfeited due to missed payments, you may recommission but full payment will be required minus the down payment.
Payments MUST be made monthly
Payments are only in to be in cash via Paypal. Art, materials, etc are not accepted as payments.
Changing of fur, materials or designs may result in extra charges. If additional charges are needed, this will be discussed prior to being made.
Once the full amount of the commission is made, the process will be placed in the completed payment queue.
Once a down payment is made your slot is held in the queue. This can be affected by late payments or missed payments.
Quotes are only valid for 30 days, once expired you must obtain a new quote.

SHIPPING

INTERNATIONAL COMMISSIONS Understand that there may be an import/vat/customs fee from your home country. The final price of the commission does not include these charges and the customer is responsible for these fees. If a shipment is returned due non-payment of any of these types of fees, you will be required to pay for reshipment costs. There is no refund for completed commissions that are not accepted through customs.
We will deliver to some cons.
Shipping is a separate fee calculated once the product is finished. Weight and box based. My products are very lightweight but depending on addons or other requirements, shipping charges vary.
Insurance is required to cover possible shipping damage and/or lose.
Domestic customers will be shipped by UPS and tracking will be available to avoid problems.
International customers may choose USPS, UPS or FEDEX. Preferably UPS or FedEx.
The shipping and insurance costs must be paid off fully before being shipped out.
I do not rely on USPS anymore as they have lost mail coming to me many times and I don't want to risk a lost Fursuit item.

WARRANTY

Aspexofsalt retains copyright of the suit design and base. Copyright of art made for the design may be transferred at request but we will not transfer copyright of the suit unless a fee contract is agreed upon. It is illegal to reproduce, copy or resell our products as your own.
Aspexofsalt will fix manufacturing defects for free for a period of 1 year under a limited warranty.
Sizing problems (that are not due to customer mistake), wear and tear, damage, etc can be repaired for a fee for materials, shipping and labor.
Altering the product will void the 1 year limited warranty. The warranty does not cover modifications requested by the commissioner.
We do not and will not copy other artist’s works. We can work with you to make a custom base for an additional fee; otherwise, upon commissioning us, you agree to the style of the company. We can work with you for small items such as eyes, teeth, tongue and ears but the main bases are set unless otherwise contracted for a custom piece.
Please be aware that not all colors can be replicated in faux fur, I cannot guarantee that your color will be available. Be sure that you can match your fursona’s colors to available fur. We are not responsible for wrong colors once work has begun. Changes in colors will result in additional fees.
We do our best to find and match the furs closest to the project, if none match the customers needs we recommend that the customer find the furs theirself and link us. Furs from overseas and pricier runs will bring additional fees.
We do accept fur if the customer already has some to use on a suit, this will decrease cost.

REFUNDING / RETURNING

Aspexofsalt retains the right to deny service to anyone.
Full refunds are only available within 30 days of the down payment.
Down payments are non-refundable as they are used to purchase materials in preparation of the commission in order to hold the spot for creation.
Returns are not accepted. All sales are final.
If a full refund is issued and your slot is forefitted , the slot must be replaced by a new customer before the refund is made.
Aspexofsalt does not tolerate copyright violations. If a commission is found to be a copyright violation, the commission will be cancelled and the owner of the original copyright will be informed.
If you forefit or sell your slot, you are blacklisted from ordering from aspexofsalt again unless discussed otherwise. We are not a bank.

DUE DATES

A rough estimate is given for most projects, they will be done in a timely manner.
We offer no Rush service. Each commission is placed in a queue.
I do not accept due dates, I will do my best to get something finished for a specific date but I can't guarantee it.
Please be considerate of your fellow commissioners, do not try to skip in front of someone else out of impatience.
Asking to be finished for a con or event is making a deadline, I will do my best but I cannot promise it'll be finished.

BEHAVIOUR

Aspexofsalt will not tolerate rushing, guilt tripping or immaturity. Any form of abuse to get a faster slot may result in a cancellation.
WIP pictures are sent daily or even as often as they are available, these help to guide a smooth process with no errors. If I do not give a WIP daily or so, please be patient as I may have other projects to work on.
REMEMBER, Artists are humans too and have normal lives including work, food and sleep. We cannot be at your side every second.
I WILL NOT TOLERATE degrading a suit to make fun of said company or person. You may use the suit for your own purposes once paid and shipped, be responsible.

ABANDONMENT OF PRODUCT

After 365 days or 12 months your product may be redesigned and resold if it is not claimed.
Before completion of each item, I need a correct address to ship said item to. Shipment to a wrong location is not my fault once sent out. Please be sure the address is correct.
Contact will be attempted every month to reach out for an address or update on current situation. If no response is made back , it will be considered abandoned up to the 12 month point.
Everything handmade by me is considered my product, I own copyrights to that physical product.
Please make sure you understand this, if you know you will be unavailable for some time please let me know.
By commissioning me, you automatically agree to my terms and everything above is included.
If abandonment does occur, said customer will be blacklisted from commissioning me again.
I will not refund what was paid if a commission is FULLY completed.

MID COMMISSION CHANGES *NEW 2025*

If you must change your commission mid process like losing weight or surgery that may change how your DTD is, Mostly for fullsuits, if the suit is paid and started you WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET A REFUND. I can change it to a 3/4th suit but the price will not change and I will be glad to alter the suit or add a torso later on for no extra. It is not my responsibility to wait for a customers goal and affect my process.
EXAMPLE : If you paid for a fullsuit, you received a partial and some time has passed which resulted in your DTD not fitting anymore, you cannot sell your slot. The suit has been paid and started and PARTS FINISHED which makes it intelligible to refund. I will offer other partials or 3/4th suits, which can be discussed, but I will not let the slot be sold.

Please make sure to notify aspexofsalt of any allergies, concerns or questions you may have. WE DO HAVE DOGS AND CATS IN CLOSE CONTACT WITH ITEMS. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THIS RULE WILL NOT BE OUR RESPONSIBILITY, WE REPEATEDLY ASK CUSTOMERS AND ANNOUNCE THIS ON SOCIAL MEDIA.
