Remote access to library databases is available. Please follow the directions on the back of this sheet.
Library Hours are available on a taped message at Ext. 2957, by consulting the list posted on the Library door, or on the Library’s website. Extended hours Tuesday – Thursday, until 2:00 AM.
Reference Services are available during Reference Hours which are 9 AM–9 PM, Monday through Wednesday, and 9 AM–6 PM, Thursday and Friday. You may make an appointment for individual reference help by calling 610-527-0200, Ext. 2273. Information Literacy Classes may be scheduled to help your students with the skills they need to complete research assignments. Classes can be scheduled at https://goo.gl/forms/nmGm2z2Me88bBF5e2
Lending Period for books is one year from the date of transaction, three weeks for AV materials. DVDs circulate for one week and you may borrow up to three DVDs. Periodicals and reference books do not circulate. Renewals may be made in person, by phone at Ext. 2271, or by email to email@example.com.
Affiliations: A cooperative agreement with Villanova provides Rosemont faculty and students with ALL library privileges granted to Villanova faculty and students, including database access. Just present your valid Rosemont ID at the Falvey Memorial Library Circulation Desk. A valid Rosemont ID can be used to borrow books at the SEPCHE (Southeastern PA Consortium for Higher Education) libraries. A valid Rosemont ID and a letter of introduction obtained from the Library will allow you to borrow books from any of the 42 member libraries of the Tri-State College Library Consortium (TCLC). Lists of SEPCHE and TCLC libraries may be found on the Library home page under Area Libraries.
Interlibrary Loan forms are available at the Information Desk or online at http://www.rosemont.edu/library/interlibrary-loan.php. Interlibrary Loan requests will also be accepted via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Reserves may be placed through Kathleen Deeming, Ext. 2271 or email@example.com. The materials will be obtained, placed on reserve, and the information added to your Class Reserve list. The course reserve list is in the Library Catalog on the library webpage. Internet addresses may also be included and can be accessed directly from your Reserve list.
Book/Media/Electronic Book/Database requests for purchase may be submitted to Joe Tresnan, Ext. 2206 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Priority will be given to items for Reserve and current course use. We do not purchase textbooks. We are only purchasing electronic Reference materials.
Rosemont Learning/Training Center (Room 117) is an experimental classroom which can be used for individual classes, training, webinars, conference calls or just experimenting with the equipment. To reserve the room, contact email@example.com or Ext. 2271; for equipment training and setup, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Media Services delivers and sets up media equipment and gives technical support in Rotwitt (McShain) and Lawrence auditoriums. Requests require 48 hours advance notice and can be sent to email@example.com or call Ext. 2278.
