  2. Discuss rhyming words.
  3. Have the children say a rhyming word for each word the teacher says. (car-jar)
  4. Have the children match uppercase letters G to lowercase letters.
  5. The teacher will Play CD 2, Track 1.
  6. Then, read Sea Turtles Facts.
  7. Discuss with the children how the the story is like “La Tortuga” and how is different.
  8. Have the children answer the following questions: What are both  books about? What did the La Tortuga did that real turtles can not do? Which book is a fiction? How can you tell? Which book is a nonfiction? Can you tell some of the facts we learned about turtles?
