Trip Participant Refund Policy

A deposit (typically $200) is due with submission of participant forms.  

If notification of participant cancellation is given at least 60 days prior to departure, all payments less a $50 processing fee will be refunded.

Final payment is due 60 days prior to departure. After this date, the amount of the deposit is nonrefundable. Unpaid participants will be removed from the trip and we will begin contacting those on the waiting list.

For participant cancellations between 30 and 45 days prior to departure, JustHope will refund half the total trip fee. (If the total trip fee is less than $800, the refund amount will be the amount paid, less $400.) If the participant can find a replacement who can provide forms and payment within 48 hours, JustHope will refund all payments less the deposit.

Cancellations within 30 days of departure will not be given a refund for any reason as trip expenses have been incurred and finding a replacement is not possible due to paperwork process.

We encourage participants to purchase travel insurance that will cover trip cancellations in the event an injury or illness prevents them from attending.

If JustHope pays for airline tickets or other individual expenses, those expenses must be pre-paid and the cost is non-refundable and non-transferable according to airline (or other) policy.
