Course Description

The creative writing class focuses on the elaboration of creative texts. In other words, texts where imagination is found, that possess the game of language, of fantasy, aesthetics, and suggestions. This class offers motives, topics, and strategies that encourage writing.

Course Objectives

In this workshop-class students are taught literary techniques that are then used to write short stories and poetry as part of the class assignments.

Program

Methodology

Using course lectures, contemplative exercises, and music, the student will write creative texts. The professor will bring examples that exemplify the diverse types of genres. The students will experiment with the diverse ways of manifesting ideas, emotions, and desires.
