Legions

Legions is meant to be an improved factions with a leveling system, a much more player friendly raiding system and a much more engaging PVP experience

When joining the server for the first time, players shall choose a profession in which to enroll as with the intention of joining or starting a Legion to overtake other Legions.

Each profession has different perks and roles to work together in a team:

Professions

Thief

A thief can go invisible while shifting, and uses two blaze rods to pick lock doors and chests.  (1/12 chance for iron door, ¼  chance for wood door, ⅛ chance for trap door, and ⅛ chance for chest)

Scout

The player can use a compass to point towards the nearest legion base that isn’t his legion’s. Passive speed 3 infinite while sprinting.

Heavy

Passive 50% dmg reduction.

Coward

3/10 chance when hit that the player will either get speed 2, protection 4, or regen 2 for five seconds

Bloodlust

Player regenerates ½ a heart per hit with an axe.

Profession Commands:

/profession select (profession/blank)

Gives you the selection menu if blank, and if it is a valid profession, allows you select that profession.

Console Only:

/profession give (player)

Gives a player another chance to change their profession.

/profession giveall

Gives all players another chance to change their profession.

The Fighting of Land

The contestation of land includes an enemy commander executing /legion attack, and the enemy player has to chase away all players on the attacked team, the land will be unclaimed by the attacked legion where it cannot be claimed again for five minutes.

Ranking System

Players mine, farm, chop trees, and kill other players in other legions to rank up. With this, their legion level gets larger.

Xp to gain to the next level is ceil((2^x)+x+10)

The available commanders, players, and land claims available are based on your level.

Players = 2^(x+1)

Land = Players*4

One piece of land is a chunk.

Available Commands for Legions

/legion - /l

/legion invite /legion inv (player)

Commanders and Generals only.

/legion accept - /legion a (player/legion)

Accepts the invitation to join a legion.

/legion kick (player)

Commanders and Generals only

/legion leave

The player leaves their current legion.

/legion disband

Generals only

/legion general (player)

Gives another player your general rank and makes you a commander.

/legion commander (player)

Gives a player the commander rank or takes it away

/legion chat

/legion claim

Commanders and generals only, claims land.

Claiming land in Legions basically means that typical players cannot modify doors, locks, chests, and any material that would be unbreakable by hand in real life. (stone, obsidian, brick, etc.), but flint and steel can be used freely on other claims, as well as breaking of dirt, and anything that is breakable by hand in real life.

/legion unclaim

Commanders and generals only, unclaims land.

/legion attack

Contests the enemies land, commanders and generals only. Can only attack enemy land.

/legion ally (legion)

Sets your legion’s stance towards a clan as ally, which means your legion will not attack the other.

/legion neutral (legion)

Sets your legion’s stance towards a legion as neutral, which means your legion will only attack them when they are on your land.

/legion enemy (legion)

Sets your legion’s stance towards a legion as an enemy, which means your legion can attack them anywhere.

/legion sethome
