Did you know? It takes roughly 500 to 1,000 pairs of jeans to create enough insulation for one average-size home in the U.S.  Since the Blue Jeans Go Green organization began in 2006, over 1000 tons, 2 million pieces of denim has been diverted from the landfills and over 4 million square feet of Ultra Touch Denim Insulation has been generated. Organizations like Habitat for Humanity and others use this recycled insulation for civic minded buildings.  Bring your old denim jeans to the office before November 15 to participate. Items collected here will be added to items collected at Pioneer to be shipped out for recycling into insulation.
