Interact Members: Are you feeling the Christmas spirit! There is a signup sheet in the guidance office for members who would like to participate in the McLeansboro Christmas parade on Friday, December 1 at 6:00. We will be passing out mittens and candy canes to children on the parade route and wearing glowsticks to light the way! This opportunity comes in time to count for community service for this semester. Please sign up in guidance by Wednesday, November 29, and meet at the parade line-up by 5:45.
Attention Interact: A signup sheet is located in the guidance office for Salvation Army bell ringing during the Christmas season. We will be ringing the bell in front of Fred’s on Saturday, December 9 from 10:00 to 12:00 Bring a friend and come to the guidance office to sign up and help make the season brighter for someone in need! Seniors, this is the first opportunity for community service through Interact for Semester 2.
FCCLA is selling holiday bread for their annual bread sales. Please see an FCCLA member to purchase your bread. All FCCLA bread sales and money are due to Mrs. Ellis by 3 p.m. Monday, November 27th. Please note that this is a change from the original date.
Students with questions regarding second semester schedules should see Mrs. Lueke PRIOR to Christmas break. Schedules are not reprinted. Obtain a copy of yours from Lumen.

Now is a good time to purchase or put a $5 down payment on a yearbook….Anyone who purchases or reserves a yearbook for $5 during the month of November will be entered into a drawing to win a free yearbook, compliments of Gorden Trucking. We will draw for the yearbook on December 1st. See Mrs. Auten with questions.
FCCLA members should pick up a state competition packet from Mrs. Ellis by November 17th. Decisions about your state competition and a $50 non-refundable deposit will need to be turned into Mrs. Ellis by December 14th. State competition practice will begin December 4th. Please sign up for a practice time outside of Mrs. Ellis’s room.
