Spacebook’s Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy applies to transactions entered into between a Registered Users in relation to the booking of a Space.

1.         Terms and Conditions

This Cancellation Policy is to be read in conjunction with Spacebook’s’ Terms and Conditions. All capitalised terms in this Cancellation Policy retain the same meaning as in the Terms and Conditions unless otherwise clearly stated.

2.         Cancellation Timeframe

The Cancellation Timeframe means a cancellation being made:

i.     The Licence may not be cancelled by the Registered Space Seeker but may be transferred one time only to another date with the Licensor’s prior approval in writing via SpaceBook. If a booking is cancelled less than 30 days from the Commencement Date, and not transferred, The Registered User (Licensee) will pay the Registered User (Licensor) and SpaceBook the Licence fee without a discount. Requests for cancellations or transfers must be done in writing. Send your cancellation request to support@gospacebook.com;

 

4.     Refund of Space Fee

Subject to the terms of this Cancellation Policy, where a Registered User cancels a booking for a Space within the Cancellation Timeframe and neither party is in default, a Registered User will be entitled a 100% refund of the Space Fee.  For the avoidance of doubt the Service Fee will not be refunded.
 

5.     Refund of Service Fee

Unless expressly agreed otherwise by SpaceBook, or permitted by the Terms and Conditions, once a requested booking has been confirmed and the Price has been paid, the Service Fee is not refundable.

6.         Cancellations by SpaceBook

SpaceBook reserves the right to cancel any confirmed or requested bookings for any reason, including for any breaches of SpaceBook’ Terms and Conditions.

If SpaceBook cancels a confirmed booking and:

i.         The Listing is cancelled because of default by the potential occupier, then SpaceBook will refund the Space Fee but the Service Fee will be forfeit.

ii.   Where the cancellation arises from a default by the Listing owner SpaceBook will refund the Price.  The Listing owner will then be liable, upon request by SpaceBook, to pay the Service Fee to SpaceBook.

iii.  Neither party is at fault, SpaceBook will refund the Space Fee to the potential occupier but the Service Fee will not be refunded.

The parties agree that SpaceBook sole liability to them is the refund of the Price.

7.         Terms of cancellation

A Booking request is only cancelled once a Registered User has send in writing a cancellation request and it is subject for review by the Registered USer (Licensor)

Any disputes arising out of this Cancellation Policy will be determined in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions of SpaceBook’s  prevailing Terms and Conditions.
