The Good Works Scholarship will be awarded to high school graduates

 who exemplify academic excellence, strong leadership, and community involvement.

Good Works Scholarship Application Checklist

To assist in making sure your application packet has all the required documents, please use the following checklist as a guide.  A complete packet must contain all of the items below and be submitted to goodworkschristianministries@gmail.com on or before July 26, 2026.

____ 1. Application

The following criteria will be used to award the scholarships:

• Applicant must have demonstrated leadership ability in the school and/or community.
• Applicant is planning to attend an accredited college or university in pursuit of a degree upon high school graduation.

____ 2. Official transcript

The transcript must be in a sealed envelope and include the spring 2026 semester.  Applicant must have maintained a 3.0 GPA or better throughout their high school career.

____ 3. Two (2) letters of recommendation

Someone other than a relative must write letters.

____ 4. Essay

The essay must meet the following criteria:

• Typed in 12 point font
• In 300 words or less, write about a current event and how you would use good works to make a positive impact.

*Please note, a rubric will be used to award students a scholarship for up to $1, 000.
