Digikids Trip to Google Education Groups NZ Student Summit

To support the Digikids enrichment programme, Year 6 Digikids will be attending the GEG NZ Student Summit in Week 3 of Term 3 on Friday 11th August 2017.

The summit is run by students, for students and will focus on the creative and collaborative use of digital technologies to promote innovation and learning. There will be lecture style keynote presentations as well as hands on workshops.

We will leave Elm Park School at 9.00am and travel by car and the school van (both by driven the teachers) to Ormiston Junior College for the day. We will return to Elm Park School by 3.00pm.

Please ensure that your child has a packed morning tea and lunch as we will be spending the whole day at the event. Lunch orders will not be available on this day. Please also ensure that your child is wearing the correct school uniform and is dressed warmly in case of wet weather. We will be inside for most of the day.
