They came in a Skoda http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C5%A0koda_Auto , waited for the arrival of worshipers, shot and slaughtered

The state's response to the Supreme Court not to destroy the homes of the terrorists involved in the massacre in the synagogue, reveals new details about the attack. The terrorists came to the playground in Har Nof, waiting for the entry of worshipers. One who fired the gun, the other who slit with a knife. They came with a Skoda, went across the  playground, waited for the synagogue  to be filled - and then began the slaughter.

The state's response to the petition filed by the families of the terrorists, which demanded not to destroy or seal the house, revealed new details about what happened the morning of November 18th in Har Nof, Jerusalem , where four worshipers and a traffic cop were killed.

From the response to the petition to the High Court filed by HaMoked for the families of terrorists, Ghassan Abu Jamal and Udai Abu Jamal from the village of Jabal Mukaber, it shows that the two came to the synagogue in Har Nof with a Skoda car. After parking it, they walked to the side of the playground  near the synagogue and waited until it was filled with other worshipers.

At 6:55, towards the end of the Amidah, the terrorists entered the synagogue. One of the terrorists began firing a gun at worshipers and the other terrorist began to cut them with butcher knives.Police were called at 7:01 by one of the worshipers who managed to escape from the scene.

According to the description the state's response, the police arrived at the scene at 7:08, seven minutes later.  At one point one of the terrorists came out with a knife out of the synagogue, and was shot by police.  After that the second terrorist came out, and probably after a shootout with the police, he too was shot.

Attorney Andre Rosenthal represents the petitioners. The State notes in its response to his petition that it is justified to destroy the homes of the terrorists in order to deter attacks in a time filled with such attacks. It notes that the description is a "dry description" of a criminal event, well planned by the terrorists, whereby the terrorists wished to murder worshipers inside a holy place, a brutal massacre which killed four civilians and a policeman who were innocent and injured more ".

The state's response, filed by attorney Yochi Gnessin, emphasized that it is necessary to deter residents of East Jerusalem, from where several such recent attacks emerged, especially since there are no known ties to official terrorist organizations. "So it is inherently difficult to thwart the attack ahead of time" he explained. Regarding allegations regarding the illegality of the move,  Gnessin referred to past rulings of the Supreme Court which allowed this process. The names of the worshipers who were massacred in the synagogue were Moshe Twersky, Aryeh Kopinsky, Avraham Shmuel Goldberg and Kalman Levin, and Saif Zidane a traffic cop.
