Dear Mr. de Laszlo

Some time ago you asked me to let you know when I was likely to be up in London so I am writing now to tell you that I shall be staying with my mother[2] at 39 Lowndes Street (her new house)[3] from the 5th 9th May telephone Sloane 3207, if you would like to come about the portrait.

I hope you enjoyed your holiday abroad. With kindest regards to you and your wife[4] from us both[5]
