Dear Mr. de László.
We returned from Denmark late on Friday last to find yr. letter awaiting me here –

We are so sorry to have missed the opening of yr Exhibition on the 31st May[1] – & also to hear that so many of yr. beautiful portraits will

not be shewn owing to lack of space.[2] We are much looking forward however to visiting the Exhibition at the earliest possible opportunity.
