Being a VTuber fan isn’t easy, you get shit on by people that don’t quite understand it and just get told you are giving your money to men with voice changers, some stupid controversy just explodes and the community is on fire for the dumbest reasons, tribalists downplaying other companies just because, numbers comparisons just to say X is better than Y or that Z fell of, bad aspects of the idol culture permeating over the community, over positivity or extreme hate towards the VTubers, clippers just wanting to get money and views at expenses of the VTubers by doing out of context clips and clickbait of “drama” instead of actually clipping the good moments, and all other sorts of yabs and community problems. With the time you find yourself simply not caring for VTubers anymore, maybe it was just the new thing and the novelty just passed, maybe you find the community so bad that you can’t enjoy the content creator, maybe there is too much VTubers and you can’t keep up with all the content and you get saturated, maybe there is no particular reason to it and you just grew out of it like any other hobby, the point is you lost all your interest and just leave the rabbit hole for good… that’s unless you find that particular VTuber that is so appealing to you, the one you like more than others, the one who’s content you enjoy the most, the one capable of making any of your days better, no matter how bad it was, by doing anything. You’ve seen other members of the community talk about this, is this what they call an “oshi”? But how did this happen? they didn’t do anything in particular to be your oshi, you just notice one day how much you like them, so in the spare time you have you sit and reflect on why you find them so appealing, is it one thing or various things? Is it their looks or their personality? as you think about it you just keep finding more and more things you love about your oshi. Well, that’s exactly what I did here, I’m going to write far and wide about why I love Takanashi Kiara and the reasons she is my one and only oshi. To keep things organized this is separated into three major sections. First section covers her physical traits, basically her looks, voice and all her different outfits. Second section covers non-physical traits, here I discuss things like her personality, skills and quirky things about her. Third and last section it’s basically just an “others” section; everything I feel doesn’t fit in the other 2 sections is here. Hopefully I can gather here as many reasons as to why me and my fellow KFP love this exceptional phoenix lady so much.

1. Physical Traits

The first thing the others perceive about you is your physical appearance and second, it’s your voice. These traits are very important to make a good first impression, some people wouldn’t even want to get to know you if you’re not physically appealing to them. This is no different for VTubers, if people find their model or rigging ugly, they probably won’t even give them a chance.

The concept for Takanashi Kiara is that she is a phoenix, the mythological firebird, in humanoid form, who is the owner of KFP, a fast-food franchise and also a part time warrior, a unique concept at the very least.

1.1 Appearance

Here I will talk about Kiara’s physical appearance, going from top to bottom, head to toe.

Let’s begin with Kiara’s hair, one of my personal favorite parts about her, she as a beautiful orange hair with fire-like color gradient to match the concept of her being a phoenix, that she can control at will as we will see in her different outfits, her hair looks fluffy and featherly, this is emphasized by the feathers that come from behind her ears that, as Kiara herself said, they might look like earrings but they are actually feathers. Recently she admitted that they’re fake feathers she bought from Amazon because she ran out of them by using them as Phoenix Downs and is currently waiting for them to grow back. We all have been living a lie. So it turns out that she was joking to go with the flow and her ear feathers are actually authentic, so all good.

She has one of the most beautiful eyes in Hololive, they are round and upturned with girly and voluminous eyelashes that gives her a very gentle look, they have this pink-magenta-violet gradient, her iris have this yellow circle around her pupil, yellow points and white little dots that makes it look like she has a tiny galaxy inside her eyes and gives this feeling that you’ll discover something new about them every time you stare deeply inside them (like her pupils resemble very lightly to skulls). I also want to mention her eyebrows, they are pretty normal, but in some fanarts she gets drawn with thick eyebrows and I like how she looks.

Her skin has this creamy white color that makes it look very soft and tender.

Her face is very appealing to me, I don’t really know exactly what it is. Her eyes? Her small but noticeable nose? The very light but ever-present blush on her cheeks? The well-defined shape? Or is it the overall composition of her face? I’m not sure but just getting a glance of her face makes me think she’s extremely beautiful. Her expressions are also very cute, her winks, the curious look when she has her mouth wide open, her warm smile with her eyes closed, her blushing face makes me feel things, her silly smug face, even her angry and sad faces are very cute, but we can’t forget about her gangimari face, that one is always funny… or very scary depending on the situation. I must say she makes very good use of her expression changes because, let’s be honest, some don’t even use the function at all and I'm glad she does.

Noodle arms. Also her nails seem to always have a light pink color.

Alright, we are getting into down bad territory, let’s talk about her breasts, they are not super big but are not quite medium either, I would say they are quite a handful (we can see that better in her Dirndl but more on that later), they also look well defined and soft. She has a nice small waist and, to complete her hourglass body shape, she has some wide hips that I would dare to describe as childbearing. She has an exposed belly in some of her outfits so we can get a good look at it, it looks defined but also like it has a healthy amount of meat there that could give for a nice squish so, yeah, belly erotic. We all know about the butt buff, I don’t really think there is much more to say other than, that’s a nice ass. Her thighs are also kind of juicy, they are a good match for her long and beautiful legs.

Her feet are… okay, I guess? It’s not like we can see much of them in the official art anyway, her toenails look cute with white nail polish though.

Kiara’s height is 165 cm, which is more or less the average for a woman, not too small nor too high, that’s a nice height for daily life and for hugs.

I’d like to take a moment to talk about Kiara’s model rigging, it’s crazy good, it has a lot of movement range, the movement is super smooth and is it’s really bouncy and expressive, it matches Kiara’s energy perfectly, she really looks a bit 3D even in Live2D.

I want to thank Huke papa and Keffiy papa for bringing my oshi to life, they did an outstanding job! Also, thanks to SWAV for doing the armor outfit and to Wonimura for doing the rigging for the dress and armor outfits.

1.2 Voice

Our voices are the main way to communicate with others, it’s one of our most important tools in work and in life, this is even more true for streamers and VTubers. Here I’m going to talk only about Kiara’s normal/streaming voice and notable things about her way of speech, her singing will be covered later.

I get why some people might hate Kiara’s voice, she’s very loud, talks a lot and has this nasally tone to it, but personally I love all these things about her voice. I’m not the kind of person that usually likes loud people but it’s just so fun to feel her emotions through her voice like her cheers of joy when finally beating something that made her struggle in a video game or wining against her collab partners, her screams when she gets (easily) scared/surprised or when she makes a mistake, how she keep ewww-ing when she gets disgusted by something, the angriness when she goes on a rant about something that happened to her, it feels like that’s the way she genuinely expresses herself and it’s not just being loud for the sake of being loud, besides, she’s not always that loud, when she’s just talking her voice is more relaxed, her voice also fell under a more natural tone with the time and I prefer how she sounds now. I think the high pitch and nasally tone gives her voice a nice girly and melodic tone. Her laugh is also pretty good, she has different ways of laughing for different situations, like her classic inhaling laughter, the muffled laugh when she only chuckles a bit, her smug laugh, or the rapid fire when she absolutely loses it before going all out and ends with her sounding like a velociraptor. My favorite laugh of hers has to be in the Mythrys Gartic Phone collab when she laughed so much because of her own Yagoo drawing that she choked and the others were asking her if she was okay. Even though Kiara’s native language is German, when she speaks English, she has little to no accent, but this leads to some funny shenanigans with the pronunciation of words like the thick ties incident or the, more often than not, fight with chat about pronunciation, but to be fair, even native English speakers have a lot of troubles with the pronunciation of some words. Her voice also gains a special flavor when speaking German or Japanese, the base is always the same but the differences between languages apport their own twist and it’s always interesting to hear.

1.3 Outfits

I recommend you get comfortable while reading because this section is going to be long. I’m going to write in detail about all of Kiara’s main outfits, our phoenix is very fashionable, and it shows. I want to give some honorable mentions to the SPARKS, Dreamin Chuchu, Valkyrie Connect and 4BLOOD outfits, those are really good too, especially the 4BLOOD one.

1.3.1 Default Outfit

Her first and most iconic outfit, the KFP uniform. She has two little hats, a cute beret and a chef hat that reinforces her fast-food theme, she can take them off to reveal her haircut resembles an orange onion. Her hair in this outfit is shoulder long and its gradient is mint green with some light blue, especially on her earring-like feathers. She has a green ribbon choker that combines with her hair, chokers are always a plus. She wears a body-tight orange shirt that accentuates her figure really well, the shirt is also sleeveless, has a belly window and a wide-open collar area, which lets Kiara showing a lot of skin. This is really nice, especially the fact that her armpits are exposed. The shirt also has little blue wings in the front that look a little bit like buttons. In the back of her shirt, she has a design of two blue wings, like the ones in the front, and also a white ribbon. In her chest she has a badge that it’s in reality her sword and shield in portable form, when she takes it off, they return to their normal size, ready for her to use them, they kind of look like toys though. Kiara can also do chicken legs dual welding for the ultimate assertion of dominance. We can also see some interesting black straps going over her shoulders, black is a nice color. Her shirt may be sleeveless, but she has cute and puffy arm sleeves, probably to hide her noodle arms. Next, she rocks a dangerously short miniskirt that also hugs her body very tightly, that thing could perfectly pass for a belt. Only God knows how that miniskirt stays in place, because I'm sure as hell that the little suspenders connected to her shirt are not doing the work. Speaking of belts, she actually has one, but instead of holding her miniskirt (because I don’t think that’s what’s doing it either) it holds a device that when activated, will turn her back to her phoenix form that we are yet to see. The miniskirt may not be comfortable or functional, but at least I appreciate how it looks on her, especially in 3D, and now that we are in the 3D topic, are the black pieces of cloth that we can see above her skirt the black spats we see in her 3D model or…? In the socks department she wears white thigh high socks with a wing-like pattern in the upper end, we can even notice a bit of thigh indentation that makes her legs look thicker. And finally, for shoes she wears black sneakers with orange laces and blue and orange soles. As a black sneaker lover, I really want a pair of those sick kicks. The outfit is a bit skimpy and undeniably sexy so it is no surprise she would cause accidents at KFP just by walking by and attracting eyes to her.

1.3.2 Casual Outfit

Kiara’s second outfit, her fresh-looking casual clothes, perfect for summer. For this one she has two head accessories, I never thought I’d find a straw hat cute but here we are, the way it projects a shadow over her face is a nice touch. The other head accessory is a white headband that matches well with the rest of the outfit, Kotori can also sit on the headband. She can also use the beret from her default outfit for an interesting contrast. Kiara got the cat ears treatment; I like how big and pointy they are. Also, the way the cat ears move when she blinks is very cute. Her cat traits don’t end there because she also has a tail that looks very fluffy, I want to touch the tail really badly. The hairstyle this time is a pair of braids on the sides, it’s very girly and cute and goes very well with the outfit, the gradient is mostly present just in the braids, especially in the tips. A while ago she also got an alternative haircut for this outfit, sadly Huke papa couldn’t do this one, still, the haircut gives an interesting twist to the outfit with a more mature look. The haircut in question is a semi-short cut with braids around the head, the green gradient is reduced to just a few strands of hair, it also has a cute contrast by having lots of hair pins, two resembling her cats, Chonkers and Smoothie. The choker is back in this outfit! but this time it also has her sword and shield badge but smaller, that’s very cool. The belly window returns too. This time, she is dressed in a white and semitransparent blouse with puffy sleeves and frills, she also has some cloth pieces attached to her wrists for enhanced puffiness. The see through capability of the blouse let us see a bit of what’s beneath and it actually is a mint green bikini top, this increases the summer vibes of the outfit a lot, it’s like Kiara could just pull off her blouse and shorts and go for a swim immediately. Speaking of pulling off her blouse, she can’t actually take it off in her model yet, Kiara said that a way for her to use the blouseless outfit is in the works, sadly it won’t be ready for summer. but there is an illustration in Huke’s twitter that shows how she looks without it, it’s an interesting view in more ways than one. For her bottom, she wears some nice denim shorts with a red and white pattern that reminds me of a picnic blanket, I would be lying if I said that the fact that the shorts are very tight and unbuttoned doesn’t activate some neurons and, is it me or her thighs look thicker in this outfit? We also have a look at her bare smooth-looking legs and also her toes with white nail polish, because she is stepping on white open shoes with more frills. This outfit has some extra accessories beside the sword, shield and chicken legs from the default outfit, she can put on sunglasses with a pink-tinted lens and a white frame, more summer vibes, and added with the new hairstyle also comes big round glasses with a red frame, kind of nerdy looking but nevertheless very cute. She can also put on a little bag that resembles a heart-shaped lebkuchen, a type of cookie from German/Austrian origin, the bag also has stitched icons that make references to all of Myth’s members, the way she includes both her culture and her genmates in a single accessory is very charming and endearing. She also has a pacifier for some reason… Huke papa, why? Anyway, the huge number of different accessories and combinations she can do with this outfit was what impressed me the most about it when she revealed it, all in all a solid outfit with a lot of variety.

1.3.3 Dress

When I first saw this outfit, I was blinded by its majesty, paralyzed, dumbstruck. Kiara’s dress is my favorite VTuber outfit ever, it's just unbelievably good, there is a video showcasing the rigging in Wonimura’s twitter and every time I see it, it makes my heart flutter without fail. Her hair is long and super fluffy this time around, and it has a blue shadowing that makes it look like a flame but also like a painting of clouds in the sunset, her bangs cover her right eye a little bit, that looks so gorgeous. I just love this hairstyle so much, I would surrender all my mortal possessions to rub my face on her hair and sleep on it, that would be heaven. She can put on a pair of head ornaments apparently of gold, one is a tiny chef hat akin to the one from her default outfit except way smaller, the other one is an ornament with the shape of a phoenix that drops a feather-like veil, this ornament looks extra fancy. Her ear feathers are more fabulous than ever, they are super long and have a very beautiful blue color, they also have a phoenix ornament. Another accessory of the outfit is some kind of blue wings shawl that comes from her back and surrounds her body, it’s a perfect match for the ear feathers and the dress as a whole. And now to the main dish, a strapless red wine dress with a lot of ruffles and a ribbon in the middle of the chest area of a much darker red tone, around the waist it has a black sash, the dress is also layered and has a wing-like piece in the sides that goes almost at floor level. There is something I don’t quite understand about the dress, it has this piece of dark cloth with another golden phoenix ornament in her chest area and my doubt is, is it connected to the dress or is another piece of clothing that goes beneath it? If it’s a separated piece, is it one and the same with the pantyhose she’s wearing or are they a separated thing? Anyway, the important thing is that due to the dress being a strapless type, we have a clear view of her armpits and probably her back if we could see the backside of the outfit… Now I really want to see the back side of the dress. I mentioned it briefly before but she wears semi opaque black pantyhose with a starry pattern, her legs also have more ornaments, this time they have the form of feathers. Her shoes are the same color as her dress and have even more golden wing ornaments. I’m not sure, but I think this fine lady has some kind of relation with birds. Besides some accessories coming back from previous outfits like the chicken legs, pacifier and her sword and shield, she also has a golden bird mask, perfect for a masquerade party. This outfit has so much going on that it can feel excessive, but the head ornaments, the ear feathers and the blue wings shawl can be taken off to give Kiara a more clean and relaxed feel while still looking very mature and refined. Personally, I like this outfit best with everything but the mask on, it just looks so regal and majestic, and without covering Kiara’s beautiful face.

1.3.4 Kimono

The mandatory Kimono for every Hololive member so they can go to their new year shrine visit wearing traditional clothes as per the Japanese tradition. No hats this time, just a white rose hairpin, it looks beautiful and matches with the kimono pattern as we’ll see later. Kiara has two hairstyles for the kimono, and they are very different from each other. The first hairstyle is long and straight, brushed to the last strand of hair, with bangs equally as straight, the hair gradient is barely visible but it's more yellow this time and gets greener as it goes down the hair, this hairstyle gives more of a refined vibe. The second hairstyle are twin tails, the length of the hair is smaller and the bangs bigger, the hair looks a bit messy, especially comparing it with the previous hairstyle, but still looks nice and cute, the gradient of the hair gets more and more yellowish as it goes down the twin tails, with the tips being a very beautiful and flashy yellow, this one gives outgoing girl vibes, I personally prefer this hairstyle. She has a black ribbon choker, black is a nice color. Kiara got proper earrings this time around, they unsurprisingly resemble feathers. The outfit has an over the shoulder pink thingy in the shape of wings that gets tied in the front with a big ribbon, it can be taken off. The kimono has a white color base, for the pattern’s main attraction it has an oriental phoenix, this matches with Kiara’s theme but also with the culture the clothes belong to. The pattern also has red and white flowers, especially roses. More flying creatures decorate the kimono in the form of blue butterflies, the obi of the kimono is azure colored and has a pinkish rope. To cover her feet from the cold she wears white socks and black slipper shoes. Kiara can pull out a fan with a KFP employee drawn in a very traditional Japanese art style, we could even say it’s a fan with a fan, anyway, the fan is cute and is a very creative way to include the fanbase on the outfit. Kiara with the kimono looks very formal, it being very traditional looking and all, but also has very cute vibes with all the bright and vibrant colors.

1.3.5 Dirndl

A dirndl is a traditional dress from German speaking countries, Kiara is no stranger to adding bits and pieces of her culture to her outfits. Sometimes she talks fondly of her culture, so it doesn’t come as much of a surprise that she used her wish of reaching one million subscribers for a dirndl. For this outfit, she has a pair of Kotoris on her head, she can toggle them off. She has a tied up hairstyle with braids and straight bangs, her hair has no gradient this time, just some strands of green in the front, she can also add some floral decoration to her hair. Kiara got an alternative hairstyle for the dirndl sometime later, a side plait, the infamous dead anime mom hairstyle, superstitions aside, it does give her a very motherly aura, her bangs are also more prominent in this one. The ear feathers make a return in this outfit. New Wawa choker just dropped and this one is particularly fancy and matches perfectly with the dirndl and I like it a lot. The dirndl’s bodice is mint green with a pink outline and a flower print, the skirt cuts above the knees, that’s on the short side for dirndls. The blouse beneath the bodice is white with transparent sleeves and featuring a really wide neckline, i don’t know if it’s because we’ve never seen Kiara with a chest window this open before or because of the intrinsic dirndl’s buff, but her chest looks a bit bigger, and I wouldn't call that size medium by any means. The dirndl’s apron is aqua colored with pink-magenta and white lines, there’s some squares and hearts on it too, the apron’s ribbon is tied on Kiara’s right side, in dirndl’s symbolism, this means she’s married, there was a bit of miscommunication with Huke papa in that part… at least it gave for some silly jokes and a fun story to tell others, putting that aside, it’s really cool that dirndls have some kind of extra meaning to them. The dirndl comes with a pink office lady blazer with white decorations including little wings at chest height. Bird lady can get even more floral with some flower bracelets. We get to see Kiara’s toes again because she’s wearing open shoes with anklets. Dirndls are meant to be sexy and Kiara definitely does look sexy on it, but all the floral decoration and pastel colors give more cutesy vibes without taking too much of the sexiness away, striking a nice balance that fits Kiara very well. The flowers and the colors also make the outfit feel very springy, even though Dirndls are usually worn in Oktoberfest that takes place around, well, October. I love the different cultures and their traditional things, so I have a soft spot for this outfit.

1.3.6 Knight Outfit

This outfit is special for various reasons, for starters, this is the first Kiara outfit that wasn’t drawn by Huke papa, instead it was made by SWAV, due to this, Kiara felt like experimenting and wanted an outfit very different from anything she has, thus resulting in an armor dress. Another particular thing about this outfit is that, lorewise, it’s not actually an outfit but rather this one is a Kiara from an alternative universe. According to the lore of Kiara’s introduction video, when she dies by going up in flames every couple of hundreds of years, she will be reborn in another dimension, so this Kiara Alter could be one of her previous lifes on a different dimension or one she has yet to live. An extra piece of lore is that phoenixes started to disappear from all the dimensions and now just one phoenix is allowed to exist per universe, so when we see Kiara Alter, the Kiara from our dimension switches places with her. This outfit is quite lore heavy huh. What’s that? Why does Kiara Alter act the same way and has the same memories as the Kiara from our universe? Don’t ask too many questions, chickens like that don’t last long in KFP and disappear in mysterious circumstances. Now for the actual outfit, Kiara has a head ornament on her left side, this one resembles the upper part of a beak and face of a bird, it looks like it’s made of some kind of gem or ore, perfect for a medieval fantasy setting. This outfit has two different hairstyles, the first one is a short wolf haircut with longer strands of hair that reaches out to her chest, her hair gradient this time is a plain and striking blue color in the tips of the longer parts of her hair and a couple of strokes left and right, I’m a fan of more messy hairstyles, so this one is my favorite from this outfit. The second hairstyle is a long ponytail, the inside strands of hair are the ones colored with blue this time, giving the impression that the ponytail is half orange and half blue, this one is more tidy with part of the hair popping off to the sides. her classic ear feather seems to be a constant between the Kiaras in the different universes. Kiara has a black garment of a thin fabric that covers her upper body, it has some mistic patterns along the arms and in the upper chest area. The main part of the outfit is a gray knight dress, it has some kind of harness that starts in the top part of her chest, goes over her shoulders and buckles under her breasts, besides that, she also has a belt that goes over her waist and has some metal ornaments, the dress is layered and has two sets of skirts, the upper skirt has is divided in the middle and has floral patterns, a big rose in the right side and various smaller flowers on the left side, we can see the inner skirt under the first skirt’s division, there’s also some kind of dark blue feathers coming from under the first skirt, they go all the way to the back, they look very cool. She also has an unzipped gray jacket that goes over her shoulders and covers her a bit more, it compliments the outfit perfectly but she can remove it and expose herself a bit more, it also looks like the jacket is blue on the inside part. This is an armor outfit but the actual pieces of armor that Kiara has are not many, she has forearm guards and fingerless gloves. It seems that Kiara Alter likes to paint her nails blue, there’s a lot of blue in this outfit. Continuing with the armor, she has cuisses to protect her thighs, but still let some of the inside part of them exposed for our viewing pleasure, her thighs look very juicy in this outfit, we can also see she has blue tights under her leg armor, which also consists of poleyns with flashy decoration on the sides, continuing she has greaves with cool pointy additions and tied laces, to finish and completing the full leg armor she has sabatons to protect her feet. This outfit is very unique, it showcases Kiara in cool and badass way instead of the usual cute or sexy of her outfits, that combined with how much lore the outfit brings and how Kiara can use it to playing RPGs because it matches the medieval fantasy setting to a tee, makes me like it a lot.

2. Non-physical Traits

Appearance is good for caching the eye and attention of people but looks only get you that far. What dictates if you want to continue relating to a person is their personality and demeanor. I have yet to know a VTuber fan that chooses their oshi based solely or primarily by appearance, so at the moment of choosing an oshi non-physical traits are the defining factor. The process of getting to know someone is always exciting, you learn their likes, dislikes, goals, struggles, highs and lows, strengths and weaknesses and everything that shaped them into who they are today.

2.1 Personality

Personalities are very complex and can't be fully expressed in just a few points but I’m going to make my best attempt at going through the things I like most about Kiara’s personality and convey as much of what makes her wonderful with them.

2.1.1 Hard Working

Kiara being a hard-working Hololive member is known by practically everyone at this point. Whether it is the weekly schedule and streams, streams and videos that require more work like Holotalk, organizing collabs, looking for new ideas for streams, music projects, preparing for live performances, even (seemingly) small things like keeping her playlist updated and posting on her YouTube community tab. She has talked about how she wasn’t motivated to work for her previous jobs and how much she loves being in Hololive and it definitely shows on how she keeps doing more and better things for us. Kiara is also quite diligent with the not so fun behind the scenes work, always making sure she meets her deadlines and even reminding other members about them. She even streamed while half dying over laryngitis, sinus infection and bronchitis, if that’s not fucking dedication, I don’t know what it is. The commitment to finishing games is also very welcomed.

2.1.2 Creative

Bird lady is also a very creative individual. In the artistic meaning of the word, she is good at drawing, dancing and handcrafting, she also takes a lot of photos so I’m sure she’s quite good at that, Kiara’s ability to take photos got complimented by someone she took photos for during her recent UK trip, the Kiara X Ame X Haachama peace sign reflecting on water is a good example of Kiara’s creativity when taking photos. When it comes to applying her creativity to her job as a VTuber she is also very good, she does lots of creative and innovative things like of course Holotalk, KFP dance school, that time she and Ina drew clothes for Council, Holobags, the awesome HoloEN advent calendar, using a soundboard to stream when she was sick, the famous and infamous sock puppet concert, also if I recall correctly, she was the first one to commission monthly wallpapers for members. Her handcam streams are very creative too, as far as I know she is the first and only VTuber to iron clothes on stream, use hot glue to build a gingerbread house and bring the corn cob pizza to existence, she’s truly ahead of her time. I love how good her thumbnails are, the way she uses her model with fan assets or fanarts combined with flashy and cute text is very eye catching, they are just lovely, and if you don’t believe me, this is the most thumbnail of all time, now being serious, this thumbnail is amazing. She sometimes even makes thumbnails for everyone in big collabs, how cool and nice is that? Kiara is also very involved in the making of her outfits and worked with Huke papa and SWAV very closely, I remember her saying how she made some suggestions for her casual outfit, she also asked for the wings and ribbon in the back of her default outfit so her back doesn’t look very flat and the KFP employee in the fan of the Kimono was initially more cartoonish but she wanted it to look more realistic.

2.1.3 Passionate

Being passionate is a trait that I appreciate in a person a lot. The capability to get deeply invested in something, either being a job or a hobby, can lead you to accomplish great things and acquire skills, knowledge or at the very least something to talk about. Kiara overflows with passion, very fitting for a phoenix since fire is associated with passion often. We already talked about how dedicated she is to her job in Hololive, but she has passion for a lot of other things, for example she was (and still is, to some degree) a very avid idol fan, especially for Hello! Project and more specifically for Berryz Kobo, her favorite idol group of all time. She managed to go to various events and concerts despite living in Austria, this fiery passion probably was what awakened (or at least augmented) her love for dancing, singing and one of her reasons to learn Japanese, she might never have joined Hololive if not for this passion for idols. She also loves JRPGs, especially the Tales of series. It was games like this that motivated her to start drawing and go to art school so one day she could be a character designer for a JRPG. Her love for the Tales of series also got her the position of Tales of Ambassador for the Tales of Arise promotional campaign. Tenchou is also very fond of TV shows, she barely watches anime nowadays but she keeps to date with TV Series, it’s not rare for her to go on a tangent about the current show she’s watching or one of her all-time favorites, she even tries to get KFP to watch shows she likes. One time she was so into historical shows that she ended up reading Wikipedia pages related to the history the shows are based on, that even ended with Kiara becoming the lady of some land in Scotland. She was also a very dedicated Nousagi, having watched the big majority if not all of Pekora’s VODs at some point in time, for this reason she dropped her spaghetti the first time she meet her in person and still has some degree of difficulty at the time of interacting with Pekora IRL.

2.1.4 Honest and straightforward

Often attributed to the German speaking culture, Kiara tends to be frank and direct with what she thinks and doesn’t sugarcoat or beat around the bush, and this is not just some lame excuse for her to be rude because she is very nice. One famous example of this is Coco comparing Kiara and Marine approach to her graduation, another good example of this is how she says what she thinks about the food she tastes openly. She also tends to talk about things that happen behind the scenes and her feelings about them to the extent she can. She also addresses topics that others may prefer to leave untouched. Honesty is something I value very much so I like how she tries to tell us as much as she can and her genuine feelings on different matters.

2.1.5 Caring & considerate

There are many examples of Kiara’s kindness on display. That just speaks volumes of how good of a person she is. First of all is her cats, she loves them very much. When she lived in Japan in the beginning of her Hololive career, the number one reason for her to go back to Austria were her pet cats. She also makes sure they have everything they need to live comfortably, she used her Valkyrie Connect collab gift to get something for them. When they’re sick she tries to take them to the vet as soon as possible and is very worried about them. She really tries to give them the best life she can and I’m sure Chonkers and Smoothie love her back for being such a good owner.

When it comes to people, we have the testimonies given by the coworkers she has met, telling how nice and kind she is. We also can notice this by how she always brings little gifts for staff and Hololive members every time she visits Japan, sometimes she makes more elaborate gifts like the iron beads hama arts, or drawings. For more concrete examples we have that time Kiara talked some sense into Calli when she was having self-doubts about her music, how openly grateful and supportive she is for Ame for helping her with her birthday 3D Live and everything she does for HoloEN, there’s also how she happily helped Gura and Okayu to communicate during their date and offering Gura to help her if she had more dates. One of Kiara’s reasons to push Holotori so much was that she wanted to give the new members a place to belong in case they didn’t find it in their gen. She also made a cover of Black Rock Shooter’s ending theme Bokura No Ashiato for Huke papa’s birthday, such a nice daughter. Kiara always tries to be friendly and be liked by the people she meets within Hololive, maybe sometimes she tries a little bit too hard but nevertheless her intentions are always good.

One of the most special things about Kiara is how much she loves and cares for KFP, she takes every and any opportunity to be grateful and do something for her fans. In stream, she often says how much she loves them and thanks them for supporting her until now. She does it on Twitter a lot too, speaking of Twitter, she interacts a lot with KFP via Twitter, and when I say a lot I mean a LOT, she has almost 20K tweets. She likes having her fans well informed of her whereabouts and doings, she also replies to a lot of her followers and checks her hashtags very religiously, liking and retweeting a lot of things. Sometimes she stalks Twitter accounts of her fans, this causes a sense of paranoia in KFP, knowing that at any moment she could see what mischief they have been up to and giving for some comedic moments. Up to this day, she still reads all the superchats that are sent to her despite the amount she gets. The way she sings happy birthday improvisations to the birthday chickens that was born because of that one birthday song for Bae is also very cute. She cares for KFP to the level of getting sad when she stops seeing a regular’s name in chat or a veteran tells her they won’t be able to watch her for a while, hell, she even got physically sick for someone joking she would stop supporting her. There is also a famous moment of her reacting to a very sad message in chat. Kiara also commented on her HoloEN Valentine’s Day video thanking the viewers for getting to her route. Kiara took time to go through her VODs to make a playlist of stand-alone streams for people that want to see one-offs and for KFP to recommend to others, I think she never tweeted about the playlist so you wouldn’t even know about it unless you check Kiara’s community tab or her playlists. Kiara also loves meeting and putting a face to her fans, doing as much meet and greets as she can to the point of arranging for a raffle for full set buyers of her birthday merch. She has a folder jokingly called “The doxx folder” where she saves photos of all the KFP members she has met. These kinds of things are very endearing and I’m sure they mean a lot to KFP. Kiara’s love for KFP goes to the extent that she is labeled as parasocial. Parasocial relationships are kind of demonized right now, especially in the VTuber community where it tends to be stronger. I think that by just consuming someone’s content regularly and the content creator interacting with their audience, there is already a parasocial relationship between them. What I mean with all of this is that parasocial relationships are not inherently bad and whether it’s a positive or negative relationship depends on both parties. My opinion is that Kiara manages the parasocial relationship with her fanbase well, though I understand why it can be mildly concerning. Anyway, here, have this funny Kiara rant about parasocialims. All in all, it’s very difficult to not feel loved in KFP and I'm thankful to Kiara for being so involved with her community.

2.1.6 Cheerful and Bubbly

When streaming, Kiara generally seems to always be in a good mood, being full of energy and positivism and looking like she’s enjoying whatever she’s doing, whether it be playing video games, singing, or simply reading superchats. Her reactions being a bit over the top are very funny. This is especially true when she is in 3D as we can see how expressive she is with her full body, always doing something or making a little dance and using a lot of body language. Seeing her being so expressive and enjoying herself so much, has a very high chance of Kiara infecting you with her positive energy and putting a smile on your face with her silliness. Having his type of personality also helps her to hype the crowd during live concerts.

2.1.7 Feminine

Kiara’s general demeanor is just cute and girly, as expected of GIRLSTALK host. Kiara being very feminine is just a fact. Whether it’s her voice and way of speaking, how much she takes care of her appearance, having lots of clothes and shoes, taking a lot of photos, being very emotional and expressive, having cooking skills, giving cute nicknames to herself and others or being chicken-hearted, Kiara is full of girly traits, and I can’t help but to find these things appealing.

2.1.8 Rated M For Mature: Strong Language & Suggestive Themes

With the bare minimum of watching one Kiara stream you will know that she swears like a sailor. I’m not saying that swearing is inherently funny or is better than not swearing, but I use a lot of swear words in my daily vocabulary and personally I feel more comfortable in a space where people swear freely, but I must admit that there’s something amusing about a girly girl like Kiara cursing shamelessly. There’s also the fact that she only feels comfortable swearing in English, she doesn’t use strong language in Japanese and is actually ashamed to swear in German, her mother tongue. Kiara openly recognized how sexy she is as early as debut day and she often appreciates art and cosplay that some would deem “cultured”, she also does and says sussy stuff with some regularity, still she refuses to say things like sex or sperm without a roundabout way even if she has said or done worst things before, this girl just feels ashamed of the most random things. but oh well, the fact that she’s okay with this kind of stuff is reassuring in some way, besides, I like my girls spicy.

I suppose I’ll also drop this here too, Kiara doesn’t like drinking or smoking, I don’t like those things either so I sympathize a lot with her in this respect.

2.2 Skills

Skills are one of the most attractive aspects of a person. Watching someone being good at something is always alluring and hypnotizing. Regarding skills, Kiara would be a jack of all trades, except not quite, because she has expertise in various of the skills she dabbles in. A small shout out to Kiara’s ukulele playing and lyric writing skills.

2.2.1 Singing

Hololive is full of talented singers, and I count Kiara among them. I find Kiara’s voice very melodic and I just love how high her pitch can go, a perfect example of this is her Goodbye Sengen cover, her pitch went so high that it even got people wondering if it was altered in some way, to what Kiara proceeded to do an acapella karaoke of the song to prove her vocal range. The way her high notes sound in the background in the Myth Karaoke of Viva La Vida is divine (go Ame). Her cover of Bokura No Ashiato showcases her singing very well since it’s acoustic. Kiara can also keep her pace decently with English rapping as demonstrated with the times she has sung Calli’s songs, this is especially impressive coming from her since English is not her native language. Her voice can be very adorable for cute songs or cool for badass songs, it can also be very seductive.

I’m also going to talk about Kiara’s music on this segment. Her original music has a lot of variety, with some anime opening-esque J-Pop with Hinotori, something more idoly with Heart Challenger, electropop with SPARKS, some synthwave with Fever Night, K-Pop with DO U and the variety of Vocaloid banger with her covers, she recently released her first album and I didn’t expect how much I was going to like all the songs, Pineapple is a very cutesy K-Pop song even though the lyrics are a bit sussy, songs like this are not my cup of tea, but I always find myself singing along in the chorus of the song, Love Rush is a spiritual sequel to Heart Challenger and it’s similar to Hinotori in the way that it sounds like an anime opening, but from a lighthearted rom-com kind of anime, the lyrics of the song are also intended to be some kind of love letter to KFP, again, this kind of songs are not what I’ll usually listen to but the lyrics hit me in the heart, specially the bridge, I certainly can feel Kiara’s appreciation while listening to this song, The Great Wanderer is an EDM song that reminds me a lot to epic electronic music from something like Azur Lane, the lyrics are about the struggles Kiara faces because she’s a virtual being, this song is definitely up my alley, Retrospective is angst rock and I LOVE IT, the lyrics are very emotionally charged too, the lyrics are about the self-doubt that Kiara dealth with in the past, being a long time Kiara watcher and listening to the song while reading the lyrics almost made me cry, Retrospective is my favorite Kiara original and is definitively in the top 10 of Hololive originals, Sleep Talking is another K-Pop song but this one is a sensual one, when listening to this song a can’t help but dance a little to the rhythm. There is a bit of something for everyone, but Kiara definitively leans towards K-Pop and I must say it fits her and as long as she drops a song from a different genre between K-Pop bangers every once in a while I don’t mind her focusing on K-Pop. My personal favorites from her originals and covers are Hinotori, DO U, The Great Wanderer, Sleep Talking, Retrospective, Goodbye Sengen, Vampire, Iya Iya Iya, Ghost Rule, 4BLOOD and Newton Dance.

Kiara karaoke streams are always a fun time for her and KFP as well as a good source for music recommendations. Her music taste is very broad and there’s always a pleasant surprise. Her song list contains idol songs, anime bangers, K-Pop, oldies but goodies, EDM, teen angst, Pop classics and TikTok songs, interpreted by groups and artists like Hello Project!, Supercell, NewJeans, TWICE, ABBA, John Denver, Avicii, Paramore, Black Eyed Peas, Lily Allen, Maroon 5 and many more. There’s some songs of her karaoke streams that I like to listen every once in a while: Not Fair, I Wanna Dance With Somebody, Lay All Your Love On Me, Let The Flames Begin, Ain’t It Fun, Lion, Girls Just Want To Have Fun, Symphonie, Los! Los! Los! And Call Me Maybe (Vintage version). If I could make a karaoke suggestion, since Kiara speaks German I would like to hear her sing Rammstein Hier Kommt Alex by Die Toten Hosen, also Iron Lotus by Mili because it’s my favorite band and the lyrics of the song kind of fit Kiara.

2.2.2 Dancing

Dancing is one of Kiara’s specialties. She has been dancing for a while and it shows in how adept she is at it and how much she loves doing it. When it comes to live performances, I value them by how much I vibe with the song, the singing and the choreography, all the parameters have more or less the same weight but what makes the performance stand in my eyes and stay in my memory is the choreography and Kiara just excels at this so I always end up loving her performances. To this day, Hinotori from 3rd Fes is still my favorite live performance in Hololive because of how much hype and flashy the choreography is. But Kiara not only knows how to learn choreographies and execute them, she also has created some choreographies of her own. The choreographies for Kira songs in her 3D birthday live were actually made by her and they are quite good, 4BLOOD especially was exquisite, she definitely has choreography making skills.

2.2.3 Trilingual

Languages are an interesting thing, how the different cultures developed a way to communicate between them and how this means of communication evolves with time and merges with others is just fascinating, so it’s only natural that someone that can communicate in various languages is just as fascinating. Kiara’s mother tongue is German and is fluent in English and Japanese. She's also well on her way to learn Korean and become a polyglot, I'm sure she’ll get it eventually. Aside from the previously mentioned languages she studied Italian in school and has some grasp of it, I think she also learnt a bit of Latin in school and dabbled a little in Chinese. Tenchou sometimes speaks a bit of Spanish on stream, and it’s a very cute Spanish with a strong German accent. Obviously if she ever learns Spanish she would get rid of the accent as she did with English, but while that’s not the case, we can enjoy her cute accent. For some reason, she also knows a very interesting phrase in French. Kiara said that after learning Korean she doesn’t plan on learning more languages, and I can’t blame her at all, four languages is more than enough.

2.2.4 Talking Prowess

This is the main reason that made Kiara my oshi. She has heightened hundreds, if not thousands of hours of my life by just hearing her ramble about whatever while I study, work, play videogames or do my daily chores. As I kept watching her streams, I found myself more and more entertained and absorbed by her talking until at one point I just realized how much I loved hearing her talk and found myself eagerly awaiting for the next chatting stream to discover what story she would tell next, that’s the moment I knew she was my oshi. Kiara is known as the tangent queen and it’s for a reason. She’s an engaging talker to a very ridiculous extent. She can pick up any topic and run with it for hours and hours while making it interesting and keeping you entertained all the way. The perfect example for this is the Purikura TED Talk. In the case she finishes a topic, don’t worry, because she’ll find another thing to talk about almost immediately and the circle will just repeat. The way she tells her stories and the sheer amount of emotion she puts in them exalts her storytelling to a whole other level and this baffles me a lot because I know her body language would be godly and would raise the experience to divinity, but we just can fucking see it, but oh well, at least we can catch glimpses when she is in 3D. I could and would listen to a 24-hour stream of her just talking. Honestly, she tells a lot of things about herself that some people may say she overshares, but I’m fine with whatever she feels like telling us and I’d listen happily. Legends say that the reason why Kiara is so good at talking is because she hates awkward silences so much, she took it on herself to eradicate any awkward silence in her presence.

2.2.5 Social skills

Kiara has talked about this several times before, although it seems like it at first, she is by no means an extrovert, she is very comfortable in her home and barely goes out, she likes low maintenance friendships and is okay with hanging out with friends once every few months and always was an outcast in school. Despite this fact, she ended up having amazing social skills for some reason. Having someone like her in Hololive is a blessing, because Hololive is full of shy and reserved people so someone like Kiara that reaches out to others and gets things started is very helpful, without her we would be missing in a lot of good collabs. This also makes her ideal for MC roles and conducting collabs. She’s capable of creating a comfortable atmosphere for others and with enough time, she can make almost anyone like her. Her social skills have S tier scaling with her talking and language skills, making her one of the suns of Hololive.

2.2.6 Drawing

This is something that can go very unnoticed, but Kiara can draw very well. This is because Kiara herself underestimates her art a lot and makes her not want to draw much. While not being super good at it, she’s still very skilled at drawing. Her drawings are still nice and have a very cute and charming style that resembles to shoujo manga. I’m very glad she played Passpartout 2 and got more into drawing again. Some things she has drawn are the art for her first loading screen, her introduction video for her debut, her first channel emotes, Pekora, Ina, Calli, Kobo, her Mythbreakers character Tiara and herself in her dress outfit.

2.2.7 Cooking

Kiara can cook many things and we can see them on her Twitter where she posts a lot of what she cooks. Truth be told, most of the things she cooks are from HelloFresh, still she needs to cook it and its knowledge and experience for the future. But bird does not live by HelloFresh alone, she can cook all by herself as we have seen from the various handcam cooking streams she has made, featuring recipes like käsespätzle and Lasagna. She can bake cookies and muffins and make some sweets; she even invented a chocolate cookie recipe that she definitely didn’t steal from a hotel. Cooking is actually something Kiara started doing after she joined Hololive, before she didn’t cook much. The fact that she cooks a lot of what she eats means she eats healthy, and a healthy Wawa means a happy Wawa and a happy Wawa means Happy KFP. Clearly, she owns an air fryer.

2.2.8 Handcrafting

Kiara is very skilled with her hands, maybe not so much for video games but for handicrafts. Over the years she has made many handcam streams and some of them are creative outlets for her dexterity. She has done things like pumpkin carving, constructing a gingerbread house, hama art with iron beads, advent wreath and sock puppets. Some of those things she made as gifts for her friends, having that self-made value makes them extra special. Kiara is a master of her craft and of hot glue bending, so things usually turn out pretty good, but when making the mother of all omelets, you can’t fret over every egg. The fact that she uses the arm sleeves from her default outfit on some her handcam stream is a nice touch.

3. Other Notable Points

Here are some points I felt didn’t fit on the other sections, but I still wanted to mention.

3.1 Full of Stories

Kiara has had a very interesting life up until now and it aims to keep that way for a while. She has been to a lot of different schools that were very different from one another. Kiara has worked in a variety of jobs and some of them are very exotic, like flight attendant, shrine maiden and of course, idol. It also seems like Kiara has been traveling since a very early age, so she’s been to a lot of different countries. It also helps that she lives in Europe because it is relatively easy to travel between European countries. Some countries she has visited are Germany, Japan, Indonesia, USA, Italy, Spain, France, UK, Greece, South Korea, Morocco, Maldives, and she even went to Brazil. Some of those countries she visited before Hololive and we hear some stories about those travels from time to time, others she has revisited or went for the first time after joining Hololive, for this ones she comes back and always makes a stream telling us all about her trip with a lots of detail and photos, this type of stream is one my favorites from her, there is a comment in one of her VODs of this kind of stream that perfectly portrays my feeling, which I’ll proceed to quote, “An adventure for Kiwawa is like an adventure for KFP. The way she shares and talks about her trips and experiences makes it easy for me to feel immersed. So when she's happy about her adventures, I feel a portion of that happiness as well. I look forward to many more adventures from this lovely birb”. She also has experienced some rather unique things like IPL hair removal, boarding a plane that had a bomb inside and getting her apartment robbed during a family vacation the night before her birthday. All these different experiences give Kiara what feels like unlimited things to talk about on stream, and I love every second of it. I’m sure there are still some mind blowing stories from her past that Kiara has yet to tell us.

3.2 KFP

Pretty much every other streamer says that they have the best community ever, but I truly think that KFP is something special. The saying that the chat reflects the streamer really holds a lot of truth, and KFP reflects a lot of Kiara’s kindness. Whether it’s by welcoming new eggs when someone joins Kiara’s membership for the first time, being very welcoming and friendly, how they hang out happily in prechat or the sheer amount of love and support they give to Kiara (some even have multiple accounts and join her membership to collect the different badges). There was this time KFP made a Twitter space after Kiara’s participation in Dokomi (to which she joined) to talk about it, they were taking turns to let some peeps talk and there was one very nervous individual with which everyone was super reassuring and comprehensive to the point they even started doing plans to go with him to Dokomi next year. KFP is a very close community, every time there’s a major event, like concerts or conventions, they always gather and fly to the events in groups, make big watchalongs or make some kind of fan project at these events.

Some KFP members I especially appreciate in the community are the following: Kowkarot is a blessing for compiling Kiara’s scattered tangents, Pudding clips and subs a lot of good and interesting moments, KFP y Basuras Varias has good and consistent clips with Spanish subs and the way they shill Kiara’s music at the end of every video is cute, NexatG was THE KFP clipper in the early days and his Myth UNO meme parody is one of the funniest things ever, Leo the dog artist makes the comic “More adventures with Kiara!” with over a hundred chapters and is always a joy to read and it’s what I look forward the most after a Kiara Minecraft stream, Cristina Manzanita makes very cute art and it’s definitely thumbnail and emote worthy, Dakuma the creator of the KFP chicken, Mamaloni art for Kiara’s MVs is incredible and she makes some of the fluffiest and sexiest Wawas, werbear’s timestamps for Kiara’s VODs are very useful to spot good moments of the streams and helped me a lot to make this, they also do subtitles when Kiara speaks German, Naweed has made invaluable contributions to the KFP community, Huke was very present in Kiara’s first streams and still has Kiara’s oshi mark and has her as is banner in Twitter, he also retweets a lot of her stuff and cheers for her in the concerts, such a supportive papa, I wish we had more streams with him and Kiara.

3.3 The Phoenix Rises From The Ashes

Kiara didn’t have an easy life. Thanks to some stories she has told over the years, we know she struggled a lot and has faced many obstacles in life. She has talked about how she had to give up her hopes and dreams time and time again and cried herself to sleep many nights. Probably she has suffered a lot of things that she can’t even talk about. She even got afflicted with chronic pain over the years to the point she couldn’t even remember how it felt to live without constant pain. Kiara used the last chance she had to be in Japan to try and make something work for her, but a global pandemic exploded and left her trapped in Japan all by herself and with no opportunity to do anything. Finally, a ray of hope came to Kiara’s life and she got accepted in Hololive, but this would come with its own set of struggles. Her beginnings in Hololive were difficult, most people couldn't see her charms from the start, I certainly was one of them since Kiara was the one that I deemed the least interesting among Myth in the beginning. She debuted with a very bad microphone, also she couldn’t showcase some of her best skills like her dancing early on. Her selection of games didn’t help either, JRPGs are famous for not being good streaming games because they are very long and story driven, so the decrease of viewers with each chapter with this kind of games is almost a certainty. If it wasn’t enough, her channel also got terminated early on and then shadowbanned for months, at least she could pull out some funny stream ideas in the form of re-debuts from these situations. Kiara being the only Hololive member in Europe (even to this day) made her feel isolated and caused her to miss on American and Asian prime times. There is also a popular theory between the Hololive fandom that the multilingual Talents tend to do worse even though they can communicate with more fans, this is because when they try to appeal to everyone, they end up alienating everyone because viewers hear a language they don’t understand half of the time. It doesn’t matter if in an isolated view you are doing well, seeing that you are the worst performer within your group will always take a toll on your mental and will brew negative emotions within you, this, combined with her past experiences made Kiara have low self-esteem, self-doubt and even jealousy towards her genmates. Thanks to this, it wasn’t an uncommon view to see Kiara looking down upon her on stream and saying she wasn’t good at anything but speaking Japanese, this also caused people to go to the main subreddit to try and get people to go watch her because she was feeling down, in retrospective, I think this made more bad than good because it gained her a reputation of a crybaby and a bit of hate, until this day, some people still have this view of her. Honestly, I wouldn’t have blamed her if she graduated at this time and thank God she didn’t. Despite her very rough beginning in Hololive, she kept going and improving herself bit by bit, day by day, until she gained confidence in herself and became the bright girl we see nowadays. We like underdog stories for a reason, there is something special about seeing someone start from the bottom and make it all the way to the top rather than someone that had it all from the beginning, I feel something like that seeing how much Kiara has grown. Kiara tried time and time again and always ended up burning down in flames, but she prevailed and kept rising from her ashes to try once again until she finally made it. There is no one more fitting to be the phoenix of Hololive, without her and her bright flames, Hololive would be a much darker place.

Epilogue

Being a VTuber fan isn’t easy, it’s filled with bad and sad moments, but if you are lucky, you’ll find an oshi that will fill the experience with so many good and happy moments that it will totally overshadow the bad ones. Sure, there will still be sad moments but at the very end, you’ll be happy that you were a fan of your oshi.

When I first fell into the rabbit hole, I never imagined that I'd end up so invested in someone acting like an anime character of a phoenix girl, little did I know that behind that first impression there was so much humanity, humanity that makes me feel so many emotions: The shared happiness when things are right, the excitement of special occasions, the laughs in the funny moments, the motivation that I feel when I see her do her best, the tears of joy when I see all her hard work paid off, the frustration when things go wrong or she suffers unfairly, and the inevitable sadness when all comes to an end. I’m truly happy that I ended up being a fan of Takanashi Kiara, and I hope that if you don’t give her that much attention or even if you hate her for some reason, I made you want to give her a chance.

To my fellow KFPs: I hope that by reading this you learned something new to love about Kiara or at least remembered a good memory. I hope for many more good times alongside you and Kiara.

To Kiara: If you end up reading this, first of all, sorry if I wrote something stupid. With that out of the way, I want to thank you for all the hours of entertainment and for being such an inspiration, you are a beautiful person and you deserve nothing but happiness. If I contributed to that happiness with this in some way, even if just a little, all the seconds I spend doing this will all have been worth it. I don’t make someone a promise if I know I can’t keep it, so believe me when I say that, unless something very drastic changes, I’ll be supporting you for as long as you are around.

OK buddy, here I’ll write about my experience and thoughts while writing all of this, if you’re up for that you are welcome to read.

First of all, my native language is not English, and I have no writing skills whatsoever. If the writing sucks and or there is a comma where a period should be, that's why.

Holy hell did I underestimate how much effort this would take! At first, I wasn’t planning on doing something so elaborate but I just got motivated and kept finding things to write about to the point I ended up spending over fifty hours to make this. Finding the words to write was pretty difficult at times. I also tried to corroborate whatever I wrote about by finding clips or going through the VODs, but I ended up relying on my memory more than I would have liked, so I’m very sorry if I made something up.

I was planning on doing this for a long time but dreaded all the possible implications of doing it, from the time I had to spend to the risk of being looked like a freak by the community or Kiara herself. Thanks to that I ended up crunching a bit to be able to finish this for Kiara’s 2023 birthday (when this was originally posted).

I almost threw the towel a lot of times while making this but for some reason I just kept going. I hope I made the right decision and don’t end up looking crazy for doing something like this.

I added some things and made some corrections to post this again on Kiara’s 3rd anniversary in hopes it reaches more people. Anyway, that’s all.
