About Webfala Digital Skills for all Initiative
Webfala Digital Skills for all Initiative is a nonprofit organization established in 2018 to empower underprivileged children, girls, youths, and women in Nigeria with STEM education and digital literacy skills. Through training, mentoring, advocacy, research, and innovative projects, Webfala works to ensure that citizens can thrive in a knowledge based society. The organization focuses on education, gender equality, technology for development, civic engagement, and online safety.
Position Overview
The Program Manager will play a central role in designing, implementing, and managing Webfala’s programs. The individual will ensure that all projects are executed effectively, delivered on schedule, and create measurable impact. The Program Manager will also support monitoring and evaluation, project reporting, team coordination, and partnership management.
Key Responsibilities
Program Design and Implementation
- Lead the design and delivery of programs
- Develop work plans, budgets, and timelines for projects
- Ensure programs align with organizational strategy and community needs
- Provide technical guidance to program teams and volunteers
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Develop and apply tools to track program activities and outcomes
- Collect, analyze, and report data to measure program effectiveness
- Use evaluation results to improve program design and delivery
Project Reporting
- Prepare high quality program and project reports for the Chief Operating Officer, Executive Director, Board, and donors
- Ensure timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Document lessons learned, success stories, and best practices for knowledge sharing
Team Coordination
- Supervise program officers, assistants, and volunteers
- Build the capacity of team members through mentoring and training
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation
Partnerships and Community Engagement
- Support the development and management of partnerships with schools, government agencies, civil society, and donors
- Engage indigenous and local community leaders in program planning and delivery
- Represent Webfala at external meetings and events when required
Operations and Administrationac
- Monitor program budgets and ensure proper use of resources
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements
- Support fundraising and proposal development with program inputs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, education, management, technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in program management or coordination within a nonprofit or social enterprise
- Strong skills in project design, implementation, monitoring, and reporting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Passion for education, gender equality, technology, and community development
