- Display pictures of the sun, moon, stars, water, rocks, plants, animals, people, and so on from the creation story.
- Tell the children that we will learn about some of the things that God created.
- Show Activity Page 67.
- Invite the children to let their finger come for a “walk” along the seashore with Henry and his brother.
- Have the children identify each element of creation shown in the drawing.
- Read the third line rhythmically, having the children point to each item I name.
- Ask the following questions: What wonderful things can you see? How can we use these things? Why did God created these things?

- Begin a group mural on creation.
- Have the children place their fingerprint on the yellow paper plate.
- Then have the children color stars and place them near the mural.

| How would you take care of some of God’s creation? | - Review God’s creation.
- Talk about items we have made for the mural.
- Have the children talk about what other things we can add to the mural.
- Talk about sand and water.
- Have the children tell why God created sand and water.
- Give the children paint brushes and blue paint and let them “create water.
- Have some of the children sponge paint brown on sheets of paper then add to the mural to create rocks.
- The teacher will read aloud Read to Me Page 69.
- Have the children join in to say a poem to celebrate all the wonderful things in our world God has made.
- Ask: What wonderful things has God created for us? How do we use these things? How would you take care of them?
