My first time adventure making a game table!

As far as I can tell, the cost of supplies was approximately $160.
Took about 10 hours from start to finish to do this table.
First things first - the plans.
I went with a table size of 7ft long by 4 feet wide. I wanted a monster table, so no matter how large the game was, or how many people were playing, we would most likely have plenty of room.
In hindsight, if there was anything I wanted to change, was table height. I think it is a few inches too tall, as it is harder to find chairs to match it’s size. But, when I do find chairs, I believe I will favor the higher table because of its deep well.
A couple things I want to say about this Google Sketch Up plan:
Ok, time for some pictures and step by step.
We built the game well frame first. This is the picture of the double thick 2x4 game well, measured at 7 feet by 4 feet.
We then cut the plywood to the same size.
After it was cut, we glued the linoleum roll to the plywood, and then screwed the legs onto the plywood and linoleum.
The legs were two 30inch 2x4s, screwed together in an L shape at the corner, with the corner facing outward.
We then screwed the legged frame and linoleum-plywood together, creating the basic table.
Here is a pic the table at that point:
At this point, we realized the legs were not that sturdy, and added diagonal corner pieces at each side of each leg, adding to it’s stability.
It is strong enough I can sit on it’s edge and it doesn’t shake or budge. More sturdy than any table i’ve owned.
After that, all we had left to do was cut the 4 top pieces for the arm rests.
We went with 1x6 wood, and mounted them flush to the inside of the game well, and it hangs over the edge of the table to create a nice look, and plenty of arm space.
Then it was sand the edges, apply the varnish, and let dry!
All that is left that I still want to do to the table:
