The Village Club Bingo is back for every 1st Wednesday of the month.

The Addington Fund Farmhouse Breakfast was on Wednesday 13th March 2019. Ashcombe Village Club hosted a fifth Farmhouse Breakfast with over 120 attendees. Guests raised £1,648 plus gift aid for this wonderful farming charity by leaving a discretionary payment for their Full-English Breakfasts!

Quiz Night 23rd March

A fun evening was had with fiendishly difficult questions from our own Tom Hunt for over 20 teams!

The Haldon Heroic CX Sportive Cycle Race will be coming to the Ashcombe Village Club on 30th March.

The 5th annual edition of the Haldon Heroic CX Sportive will take place from Exeter Racecourse on Saturday 30th March 2019.

There are three new route options available: The CX-Micro (15 miles), The CX-Medio (37 miles) iand the CX-Mega (57 miles). Each Sportive route takes you through a mixture of Devon Lanes, Bridleways, Tracks, Green Lanes, and Open Commons. The routes have been specifically designed for CX and Gravel Bikes but they are equally suitable for Mountain Bikes.

Irish Night 7.30pm on 30th March 2019 - Live music from The Stowes and an Irish Supper too!

The Bramble Bashers Charity Clay Shoot will be held on 11th May 2019.  Featuring a 50 bird contest, there will also be a gun dog scurry. Prizes are generously donated by the Sportsman Gun Centre and traps provided by The Ashcombe Adventure Centre.

Ashcombe Village Club AGM will be held in June. Committee and officers elections, accounts agreed and the charity cheques raised by the club for presentation to various local and national charities representatives.

The Ashcombe Soapbox Races are on 2nd June 2019!  Please come to Ashcombe Village Club for a 12pm BBQ and to take part in our first gravity races in the fields opposite.  Teams of up to 4 people are accepted with £20 per entry.  There will be a children’s course open for £1.  Cash prizes for The Fastest Time, The Best Crash and Best Fancy Dress!  Contact Sara for more information

Ashcombe Village Fete and Country Show - will be on 21st July 2019.  Great traditional event with lots to do and be entertained by. Building on the tremendous success of the last few years, there will be super shows,  amazing stalls, a Dog Show, Face Painting, 4×4 Ashombe Scuffle Trucks, Vintage Tractors, Live Music, food and drink from stalls and the Club BBQ  cooking up some sizzling top quality local sausages and burgers.  The stars of this year’s show is The Recycled Racehorse Falconry Display Team.

The Village Olympics - 25th August 2019.  Bank Holiday Weekend fun as local villages battle it out with silly games and fun races.
