Some Interesting observations on
Migraine headaches:
Dr.K.Muraleedharan
I am a migraine patient. My experience of this sickness, whatever you may label it as, is the truth and reality I alone know, as a living human being. The symptoms and conditions are observed all over the globe and are documented and available in the medical literature. But the descriptions and recollections, observations, analysis and conclusions as an individual, I think, might interest someone of my nature and background. My opinions and conclusions are purely personal and are of no comparison with the standard[1] research publications of any medical institution, including ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research) or WHO (World Health Organization). It does not suggest or recommend any drugs or report results of using any. Then why the hell I write about it, you may ask. It is to ensure my personal neural privacy interests and is not meant for any wide publicity or broadcast. But still, I have my goals set, indeed, for certain profit for myself and also other individual human beings living on the Earth with similar afflictions.
The Google Search gives a detailed description of the medical diagnostic condition called "migraine".
I have been experiencing intense headaches lasting days and continuously, from as far back in my childhood I can remember. I am now 62 years old, and am writing this today 19 September 2021, as a severe migraine attack started last evening, just lessened in intensity a few minutes ago.
The pain is so excruciating that I just consider myself dead during the experience. That is the best I can do especially when I am living alone, and nobody to share my neural experience and my relatives have become almost fully insensitive to any of my pains. It is not surprising that many patients commit suicide being incapable of bearing the pain.
How often do I get attacked? About thrice a month, on the average.
Does anyone know about your condition? A very funny question. The right to information is an Indian citizen's right and people and the government are free to use the information they collect, according to the rules of the Parliamentary democracy in India and WHO.
Have I tried any conventional treatment?
In my younger days the medical professionals were my refuge to listen to my wails. Many suggested painkiller drugs. I used to consume as prescribed but ending up with exhausted feeling and depression when the next attack starts after a week or fortnight.
