March : 3rd: [1912]

My dear Mr László,

The “Togo” [110587] has arrived safely (forwarded on from Wimbledon) & I thank you most heartily. It is splendid & will always be a most prized possession, all the more so for the inscription in your own hand. I am so delighted to have it that I do not regret my impudence in asking! A drawing of mine which you shall choose is at your disposal in exchange. Perhaps you will not mind waiting till my exhibition closes as then I shall have several to choose from & you must come & pick it out

[Page 2]

I hope you will see my “show” before it closes.[1] It will be open another fortnight or slightly more.

I have much pleasure in enclosing my cheque for £2.20 for your table at the Artists Benevolent Fund Dinner, I wish I could attend, but I fear I cannot as I shall be away then.

A thousand thanks for the Togo - It is a grand reminder of the man. | Yours very sincerely

E:T: Reed
