Calculators

There are some calculators available for classroom use only.  Any damages to a student’s assigned calculator must be reported immediately.  If a student is responsible for the damage or if the calculator is lost, a charge to replace the calculator must be collected within 7 days.  Students are suggested to have their own graphing calculators for at home use.

Homework (Formative Assessments)

Math homework is given every day.  Students have a chance to ask questions and check answers. Homework handed in on time will be graded on accuracy but will be able to be redone for full credit up until the summative assessment is given. Late work will receive a score of 50% of the graded paper.

Teacher’s Advice…

If you feel that you do not understand what’s going on in class, it is extremely important that you take care of this right away. The day you feel like you do not understand a concept, you should ask for help.  Most of the time, the best students are the ones who come in for extra help.  Please take advantage of every opportunity offered to you, including the tutoring offered before or after school. Use your resources and class time wisely.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact your teacher immediately.
