Course Description
This class teaches the student the basic elements that make up Latin American culture. The fundamental objective is to better understand the complex reality of Latin America that is a result of a laborious process of acculturation.
Program Schedule
Activities
After a theoretical explanation of the topics the class will work with texts and audiovisual supports so that the students can better learn the material and topic discussed. After practical exercises the students will create a questionnaire during class to arrive at commonalities of the contents of each thematic unit. The students will finish three reflective works on one of the materials (text or audiovisual) to turn in during the course. The due date for these assignments is the day of the final exam.

30% - Presentations
50% - Exams: mid-term, final

Due to the content of the course, the professor will propose for each topic the adequate material: bibliographic selection, newspaper articles, audiovisual support, etc.
