Therefore, our initial itineraries serve as a reference for the types of activates and locations available in the region. All customizations for academic programs are made on a case by case basis.

Day 1 | Arrival day The Kathmandu Valley has an exotic setting. It is surrounded by a tier of green mountain wall above, which tower mighty snow-capped peaks. It consists of. Three main towns of great historic, artistic and cultural interest: Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur. The Kathmandu Valley covers an area of 2148 sq. miles. It is situated at 4,423 ft. above sea level. Day 2 | After breakfast, proceed for the tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square. Enjoy Lunch at a city restaurant. Rest of the day is at leisure for your independent activities Go back to hotel |
Day 3 | After breakfast, proceed for the tour of Boudhanath Stupa Boudhanath Stupa: This is the largest stupa in Nepal and one of the largest in the world located east of the valley. It was built by the Lichchhavi King Mana Dev in the 5th century A.D. The Rinpoches who reside here have established Boudhnath as one of the most flourishing centres of Tibetan Buddhism in the world. The colossal ancient stupa is 36 metres high. Following the tour, have lunch at a city restaurant Rest of the day is at leisure for your independent activities Go back to hotel. |
Day 4 | After breakfast, drive to Pokhara (approx. 6 hrs). Lunch at tourist restaurant at highway.
POKHARA: - If Kathmandu is the cultural hub of Nepal, Pokhara is its centre of adventure. An enchanting city nestled beneath the snow-crested Annapurna Massif in a tranquil valley, 170 kilometres from Pokhara, it is the starting point for many of Nepal’s most popular trekking destinations. Pokhara is a place of remarkable natural beauty. The serenity of Phewa Lake and the magnificence of the fishtailed summit of Machhapuchhre (6,977m) rising behind it create an ambience of peace and magic. Upon arrival in Pokhra, check into hotel In the afternoon, boating on Phewa Lake Go back to hotel. |
Day 5 | Morning tour: Excursion to Sarankot (to view the Himalayas closeup). The most stunning of Pokhara’s sights is the world famous views of the Himalayas, especially with the spectacular panorama of the Annapurna range which forms its backdrop. Stretching from east to west, the Annapurna massif includes Annapurna I to IV and Annapurna South. Although the highest among them is Annapurna I (8,091m), it is Machhapuchhre which dominates all others in this neighbourhood. Return to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, proceed for the tour of Pokhara city: From here, enjoy lunch at a city restaurant or at a hotel Rest of the day is at leisure for your independent activities Go back to hotel. |
Day 6 | Breakfast at hotel
After breakfast, drive to PHEDI (3,723ft) takes about half an hour to begin the three - hour's hiking to DHAMPUS (5,740ft). For the first 45 minutes the trail is quite more strenuous, and then less steep uphills to Dhampus. Breathtaking scenery unfolds at every turn -- rural villages, paddy fields of rice and wheat. Marvel at 23,000-foot Machhapuchhre, Sacred Fishtail Mountain. Trek at your own pace. |
Day 7 | After breakfast, drive to Nagarkot via Kathmandu (approx. 4 – 5 hrs). Enjoy lunch at city restaurant. Upon arrival in Nagarkot, check into hotel. Nagarkot: The tiny settlement of Nagarkot clings to a hill-top east of Kathmandu (2,099 metres, 6,886 feet), far from city noise and traffic. It is 32 km. from the city and is famous for its view of the Himalayan range, stretching from Dhaulagiri in the west and Everest to Kanchenjunga in the east. It is the best close range Himalayan vantage point from anywhere on the Kathmandu valley rim. Explore the surrounding area in Nagarkot. Evening sunset viewing. Go back to hotel. |
Day 8 | Early morning, Sunrise viewing. After breakfast, take short hike and drive back to Kathmandu. We will enjoy lunch at hotel or a city restaurant Upon arrival in Kathmandu and check into a hotel Rest of the day free for personal activities Go back to hotel |
Day 9 | Day is at leisure to exploring surroundings of Thamel. In the evening, dinner at an authentic Nepali restaurant |
