Dear Fülöp,

Thank you very much for your kind letter and thank you too for letting us know your movements over the summer. We are of course very sorry that you won’t be coming back home with us in the car but we completely agree with you that the main consideration must be what will be best for your health.

Our plans are as follows: we set off on July 4th with Gyula Kornis^[1] (Ottó Légrády^[2] would very much like to come with us but he cannot say for certain). We reach London on July 10th and will stay there a week. From there we will go on a motoring tour of the British Isles, starting with Scotland. So we will go up the east side and come down the west. We also plan to go over to Ireland, and to Wales as well, where we are to be made Welsh Bards at the Eisteddfod.

Everywhere we go, we will

look up our dear friends and acquaintances. From time to time I will let you know where we are, because we don’t want to go home from this our longest and carefully planned British holiday without having seen you, either for a short hour or for a longer period, of course depending on the circumstances and on how you are feeling.
