Introduction

The Enduro is a small covert recording device designed for rapid deployment within virtually any area.  The device has a recording time of around 72 hours and a standby time of 75 days, it's highly sensitive microphone allows for it to be easily hidden away from your target’s line of sight yet still capture the all important conversation.

Charging the unit

Before you begin charging the unit first make sure that the device is switched off.  You can charge the unit by plugging the 2.5mm cable (provided) into the port on the base of the unit and the other end can be plugged into a PC, Laptop or a USB wall charger.  While on charge a solid red light should be visible via the windows at the side of the unit (as shown below).  A full charge should take around 6 hours, once complete the red light will start to flash.

Please plug the USB cable into the Enduro first, and then into the PC.

This prevents the unit shorting out.

Operation

Once the device is fully charged it is ready for deployment, to do this simply press the power switch (as below) a few seconds after pressing the button a solid red light will be displayed for 5 seconds to notify you that the device has began recording.  While in recording mode the device will only record when it detects sound and stop recording when no sound can be detected, each new recording will be stored as a separate file.

The device has a sensitive microphone which allows for it to be easily hidden in numerous places either by placing it on a flat surface out of sight or by making use of the built in magnets (optional extra).

Reviewing the Audio

Once you have finished recording the desired audio you will want to play back the files, to do this insert one end of the USB into the black box and the other end into a PC.  At this point a new drive should open up on your computer containing all your recorded files taken during the deployment of the device.  As with any normal file you can chose to move it, copy it or delete it in the normal fashion.

It is advised that you wipe the unit’s memory as often as possible, this is due to the fact that the device records high quality footage that can quickly fill up the units memory causing the device to stop recording.
