Dear Mr. de Laszlo

Thank you for your letter I received on Monday.

I enclose a rough sketch of  [illegible] – they will look better in reality than they appear here, and with some sculpture as [finials?] would be an attractive feature.

I have been to the studio again this morning. The steelwork is fixed and the window frames fixed. I inspected the sample  testament of the frieze but it was no good and I am seeing another on Monday next. They are starting the ceilings and dome on Sunday. The fanlight is started and I saw the [plasterer?] [illegible] about the arrangements the stage of frieze, etc.

I am also to see samples of picture rods on Monday –

I am going to France early Tuesday week but will call on you on Monday week if you will ring me up between 11 and 1 in the morning to arrange the time,

I am very pleased with the [way?] [illegible words] are looking – it

is a very ticklish job and I think we have solved it now.

I hope the work will be finished except for decoration before Easter.

By the way they have “cornered at the top with “rebound” and re[illegible] “the titles” – it is finished –

Yours truly

G. Berkeley Wills

I am sorry the [radiator?] [illegible words] quite ready –
