Making Music in Cheshire

Frodsham & District Choral Society is a thriving, friendly, non-audition mixed voiced choir of  100 singers of all ages. Founded in 1970 by a group of enthusiastic amateur singers, our repertoire ranges from the great classical choral works to modern contemporary pieces. Under the skilled direction of Howard Kane, who was appointed musical director in 2008, and ably assisted by Robert Woods the choir has grown in size and reputation.

We rehearse from September through to July for our four main concerts, which are held in Frodsham, and also take our music to other venues in the area. Groups of singers from within the choir are available to sing at weddings and the choir regularly puts on events to raise money for local charities.

Monday nights are rehearsal nights which are held in Frodsham Methodist Church from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. New members are welcome to come along and give us a try. Please use our contact form for more information about joining our choir or to book the choir for your event.
