Eastern Standard Caps Off Year of Growth With

Appointment of New Partner, Move to Larger Office Space

PHILADELPHIA (January 3, 2017) — For Center City branding and technology agency Eastern Standard, 2016 has been an exciting year. Not only has the firm experienced exponential growth that garnered them a Philadelphia Business Journal 50 on Fire Award — recognition for being one of the 50 fastest growing companies in the Greater Philadelphia Region and one of only 10 in the City of Philadelphia — but the management team also recently announced the appointment of a new partner: Operations Director Vince Giordano.

With a diverse background in sales, account management, and business development, Vince has overseen operational management for Eastern Standard, including human resources, legal, and finance. Vince is credited with being the point person for initiating the original business development relationship between his former employer, web developer Context, and creative agency Tabula Creative, which worked together for many years before joining forces to form Eastern Standard in 2014. Vince officially assumed the new role of partner on January 1, 2017.

Eastern Standard has initiated many other staff additions and promotions during the 2016 fiscal year, hiring a total of 9 new employees, including two Account Managers, two Project Managers, and a Senior Developer.

To accommodate its ongoing expansion, the Eastern Standard team plans an early spring move from their current residence at the Biddle Building on Sansom Street to newly renovated office space at its sister property, the Bailey Building at 1218 Chestnut Street. This move effectively doubles their office size to 5,600 sf with initial seating for 30 employees, plus four private offices. The open floorplan, designed by the esteemed firm Michael Shannon Designs, will feature 8-ft entry doors, a glass conference room, and a separate collaboration area.
