Training Strategies

Face-to-Face with Follow-Up Support

  • All teachers attend one meeting each quarter, total of 4/year
  • Teachers complete training course in LMS that they will implement themselves
  • Teachers send and receive feedback, answer each other's questions, and collaborate via the LMS’ discussion thread
  • Robust, ongoing implementation support and feedback
  • Follow-up in individual and small-group coaching sessions
  • Model lessons from technology coach
  • Peer observations; coach teaches class while teacher observes another class
  • Collaboration and troubleshooting in voluntary monthly PLC meetings
