New! You can now insert videos from Google Drive right into your Slides! And . . . you can decide when to start and end it.
In your Slide:
Insert > Video
Click Google Drive, then choose your video.
Click on the video itself, then Video Options.
Choose a start and end time. Other choices: Autoplay when presenting? Mute audio? Up to you.
This is an especially helpful tool when a) schools block YouTube, b) when students upload a video to Google Drive from their phones or another source, or c) when teachers just don’t want to direct their students to YouTube with all its distractions. Share the link to a Slide instead!
