The ARRL Nevada State Convention (NVCON 2017) is sponsored by the Las Vegas Radio Amateur Club, Inc. and other Nevada Amateur Radio Clubs as noted in the official convention brochure. The objective is to promote and foster friendship, fellowship and communication in the technical, emergency, and new product aspects of amateur radio to better serve our local communities and the public at large.
The NVCON 2017 will be held at The Eastside Cannery Casino & Hotel located at 5255 Boulder Highway, Las Vegas, NV 89122. Exhibitor setup in the Casablanca exhibit area will be on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 7:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. At the end of the show, the exhibitor area must be left clean, tidy and in the same condition as upon arrival.

The fee for one 10 foot by 10 foot booth is $200.00 to include up to three draped tables if needed. Power, banner installation and additional drapery fees may apply.
The Fee for a tailgate space is $15.00 in advance and $20.00 on the day of the event. Tailgaters must secure their own equipment as security above and beyond the normal hotel parking lot security will not be provided during the day or overnight.

Option 1. Payment in full submitted with completed exhibitor registration form at the NVCON.ORG web site.
Option 2. Payment of 50% of rental fee paid by January 15, 2017 submitted with completed exhibitor registration form at the NVCON.ORG web site with balance due by March 1, 2017. Payments received after March 1, 2017 shall be assessed a 10% late fee. Failure to pay a remaining balance shall result in forfeiture of initial deposit. Specific booth location will be granted if available after payment in full is received.
Fees per individual attendee is $25.00 in advance and $30.00 at the door.
Regular attendees of NVCON 2017 wishing to attend the event and guest speaker meals, banquet and lecture technical sessions shall remit payment in full when ordering tickets. Check the NVCON.ORG web site for full details.
Cancellations of any exhibit space shall be made in writing to the Las Vegas Radio Amateur Club, Inc. Refunds shall be made according to the following schedule:
1. Cancellation requests prior to January 15, 2017 shall receive an 80% refund of monies paid. Any selected exhibit space shall be forfeited.
2. Cancellation requests received prior to March 1, 2017 shall receive a 40% refund of monies paid. Any selected exhibit space shall be forfeited.
3. Cancellation requests received after March 1, 2017 shall not be refunded.
4. Exhibitors may not "sublet" transfer or gift any rental space for which they have contracted without the written consent of the Las Vegas Radio Amateur Club, Inc.
INDIVIDUAL ATTENDEES may cancel their ticket purchase and apply for a Refund until March 20, 2017. Refunds will be 90% of monies paid to cover credit card, pay pal and processing charges. Cancellation requests must be in writing and sent to the Las Vegas Radio Amateur Club, Inc.
The Las Vegas Radio Amateur Club, Inc. retains the sole right to determine the eligibility and appropriateness of any applicant exhibitor. Any signs and/or banners used by an exhibitor must be approved by the Las Vegas Radio Amateur Club, Inc. and subject to rules and regulations of the Eastside Cannery Casino & Hotel as well.
The method and assignment of exhibit space shall be at the sole discretion of the Las Vegas Radio Amateur Club, Inc. and may be changed from time to time to best serve the interests of the NVCON 2017 event.
Exhibitors may request and/or select their location when submitting their rental agreement and payment in full. Every effort shall be made to grant such requests pending sponsored booth requests and on a first come, first served basis. CONFIRMATION of space location shall be emailed to the responsible party following payment in full as soon as possible.
Individuals contracting for tailgate (ham swap) space shall not sell, offer or provide any equipment or services which shall directly conflict (e.g. new product of an event exhibitor) with any show exhibitors. Violators will be asked to leave the event and no refund given. Tailgate space is for the sole purpose of trading, selling or swapping amateur radio gear and applicable equipment for individual use. No alcoholic beverages of any kind are allowed in the tailgate activity area while the NVCON 2017 event is in progress.
Exhibitors shall not post any advertisements, signs or banners anywhere on the property except within the exhibitors own booth space without consent of the Las Vegas Radio Amateur Club Inc. and must conform to the rules of the Eastside Cannery Casino & Hotel.
A booth seen at many Ham conventions and swap meets known generically as a “Country Store” which accepts amateur related equipment on consignment and sells that equipment for the owner will be established at the NVCON 2017 event. Pending availability of volunteers to staff the booth, the “Country Store” operation will be the same hours as the Exhibit Hall. The following rules shall apply to the “Country Store” operation.
By checking “AGREE” and purchasing admission to the NVCON 2017 event, you certify that you have read these rules and regulations and agree to abide and adhere to the spirit and intent of the rules and regulations of the NVCON 2017 event.
