I sent you a copy of a history of Surrey I picked up yesterday. It is not the book I intend still to send you but I thought you might like to have a book like that to refer to and as it is a perfectly new copy and I picked it up for less than ¼ of its price I ventured to send it to you as a little memento of an exceedingly pleasant visit to you last Saturday.
