Childcare Space at SBGf Conference Rio'25

The SBGf Conference Rio'25 will be a more inclusive and family-friendly event! For the first time, we will have a dedicated space for children, thanks to a partnership with the GeoMamas Network of ABMGeo.

Pre-Registration for Babies and Children

To better organize the childcare space and ensure safety, comfort, and proper staffing, we ask families to fill out the pre-registration form.

If you are attending with babies or children aged 3 to 12, please complete the form to express your interest in a spot at GeoCrias.

If you are attending with a baby or child up to 2 years old, please indicate in the form whether a companion pass is needed.

Reminder: The space has limited capacity, and the form is essential for adjusting schedules, furniture, and staffing appropriately.

Filling out the form does not guarantee a spot, but pre-registration is mandatory for anyone interested in using the space. We will send instructions, including fees, the number of spots available, and other information by mid-July.

Babies and Children Aged 0 to 2

Although the childcare space is primarily designed for children aged 3 and up, there will be a cozy corner for breastfeeding.

If the responsible person requires it, a companion pass can be requested, provided the companion declares no scientific interest in the event.

GeoCrias – Children Aged 3 to 12

During the conference, the GeoCrias space will welcome children between the ages of 3 and 12 (subject to demand), offering fun and educational activities focused on Earth Sciences. The goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable environment while parents and guardians participate in the event.

Location

The Childcare Space will be located on the EXPOGEF floor, near bathrooms, banners and lecture areas (its exact location can be found in the EXPOGEF map section).

Event Accessibilities

The event space has been thoughtfully designed to be accessible and inclusive.

  • All areas are accessible via ramps or elevators for individuals with wheelchairs or strollers.
  • Changing tables are available in the bathrooms.
  • Sign language interpreters (Libras) will be available for the main lectures.
  • A buffet-style restaurant and snack bars will be available on-site.
  • The venue is conveniently located near the “Estácio” Metro station.

A SBGf Conference Rio’25 será um evento mais inclusivo e acolhedor para famílias! Pela primeira vez, teremos um espaço dedicado às crianças, fruto da parceria com a Rede GeoMamas, da ABMGeo.

Credenciamento Prévio de Bebês e Crianças

Para organizar melhor o acolhimento e garantir segurança, conforto e equipe adequada, solicitamos que as famílias preencham o formulário de credenciamento prévio.

Se você vier com crianças de 3 a 12 anos, preencha o formulário para manifestar seu interesse em uma vaga no GeoCrias.

Se vier com bebê ou criança até 2 anos, indique no formulário se há necessidade de acompanhante com passe livre.

Lembrando: o espaço tem vagas limitadas, e o formulário é essencial para ajustarmos horários, mobiliário e equipe de forma adequada.

O preenchimento do formulário não garante sua vaga, mas é obrigatório o credenciamento prévio para quem tem interesse em usar o espaço. Nós enviaremos instruções com valores, quantidade de vagas e outras informações até meados de julho.

GeoCrias – Crianças de 3 a 12 anos

Durante o congresso, o espaço GeoCrias receberá crianças entre 3 e 12 anos (mediante demanda), oferecendo atividades lúdicas e educativas com temas das Geociências. A proposta é garantir um ambiente seguro e divertido enquanto mães, pais e responsáveis participam do evento.
👉 Credenciamento prévio obrigatório.

Bebês e Crianças de 0 a 3 anos

Embora o espaço infantil seja voltado prioritariamente para crianças a partir dos 3 anos, haverá um cantinho acolhedor para amamentação.


Caso a pessoa responsável necessite, será possível solicitar um passe livre para um(a) acompanhante, desde que este declare não ter interesse científico no evento.
