Intranet Entertainment Portal

Developed a web-based entertainment portal for IITG intranet which includes the following modules

Music Portal - Users can upload, play and download music.
Video Portal - Users can upload, play, share videos.
Coding Portal - Users can solve interesting programming problems while competing with other users.
Ebooks Portal - Users can upload, download ebooks and documents.
App and Game store - Users can upload apps and games they developed and any user can download them.

Other Projects

Worked as a freelance developer for Involute Training Institute, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India
PyFTP: Developed a simple FTP Client using the ftplib module of python. It has functionalities like downloading, uploading files, listing all files in the current directory, recursive search etc.
JQuery Form Helpers and Validators: Developed html form helpers and validators using jquery library which has features like allowing only numerical input for mobile number fields, and localizing mobile numbers i.e allowing only 10 digits for indian mobile numbers etc.

Achievements and Awards

NTSE: Got selected for the second level of National Talent Search Examination.
NSO: Got Selected for the second level of National Science Olympiad with a gold medal in the first level.
MCM: Awarded MCM scholarship by Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati for two consecutive years for being among the top undergraduate students.

Other Activities

Successfully conducted the prelims of Technothlon’12 as a city representative in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh.

Worked in designing the website of online events module for Techniche’12, annual technical fest.
Active member of National Service Scheme (NSS).
