1. Events:  Upcoming Events needing sign up!

1. Schroeder Distance / Sprint Meet - sign up by 4/28 - to enter Saturday’s distance events, Schroeder swimmers must have the time standard.  Please ask your coach about Sunday as most can swim!

2. Annual Team Banquet - 4/28 (for athletes and families on the Senior and Junior teams).

3. Pirate plunge - entries due by 5/16.

4. EBSC 8&U All-American Classic - entries due by 5/16.

Build the Future UPDATE! - The first week of our fundraiser is in the books! After week 1, our team raised $5,878 (currently $8,239 and climbing!) with about 10% of the team having raised at least $1.  That is FANTASTIC progress with  3 weeks to go!  

I would like to share 2 quick stories from athletes over our first week:

1. Lucy and Luke Thomas  started a lemonade stand over the weekend and chose to donate their profit to the Build the Future campaign.  Awesome Job!
2. Alex Frick, Katie Frick, Jack Schultz, and Julia Schultz  got together and had a bake sale, raising over $100!  Pictures can be found HERE.  Way to go!

2. Youth Triathlon at WSAC! - This summer, we will be starting a youth triathlon program for athletes age 11 - 14.  You can find the full details on our website by clicking HERE.  

3. College Readiness Workshop was Saturday, 4/22 at WSAC for parents of 7 & 8th Graders and then High School aged swimmers.  Audio of both talks, handouts and more

4. Summer Employment - looking for a job guarding, instructing or coaching at / with WSAC, Aug Prep or at an outdoor facility?  Read more

5. Age Group Fun Night!  Thank you to the 80 12&U’s that participated and the 10 Jr.1’s that helped.   It was a super fun night!

6. Custom caps are available through Elsmore now - May 13th.  Order in the shop.

Please contact your swimmer’s lead coach with your questions.  Email or call your athlete’s coach or talk to her/him before or after practice.
