PAGES 7th Open Science Meeting Registration and Abstract Submission is Open
PAGES' Open Science Meetings (OSM) and Young Science Meetings (YSM) are held every four years. They are designed to encourage interaction between scientists from all career levels, disciplines and regions. In 2025, the OSM and YSM will be held in Shanghai, China and online. The 7th PAGES OSM will take place from 21–24 May 2025. the 5th PAGES YSM will take place from 19–20 May 2025. The 7th OSM and 5th YSM meetings will focus on “the Earth System Changes from the Past towards the Future”. The programme includes several sessions devoted to high-resolution paleoclimatology and historical climatology.. You can find more information and complete list of deadlines at the conference website: https://www.pages2025.org.cn/
The European Society for Environmental History has announced that the theme for the next annual conference will be Climate Histories. The conference is scheduled for 18-22 August 2025 in Uppsala, Sweden. The call for papers is due 31 October 2024. The MedCLIVAR Network and the Italian Society for Climate Sciences (SISC) are delighted to invite you to participate in the MedCLIVAR-SISC 2024 Conference from 24 to 27 September 2024 at the University of Salento, Lecce, Italy. The event is jointly organized by the University of Salento, SISC and the Euro-Mediterranean Centre on Climate Change (CMCC) as the 7th MedCLIVAR and the 12th SISC Conference. Information on the conference organization, sessions and important dates are available at http://www.medclivarconf.eu. Registration with the MedCLIVAR network (information at HOW TO JOIN THE NETWORK (medclivar.eu)) is recommended to receive updated information on the progress of conference organization. The conference is planned to be organized with the physical presence of the participants.
The Leibniz Institute for the History and Culture of Eastern Europe (GWZO) has an upcoming event “Adapting to climate change and climate extremes in historical perspective“, in Leipzig 27 February–1 March 2025. This conference calls for the historical lessons we can learn from policies of adaptation from the 18th to 21st centuries.
