London, May 16, 1923

Dear Mr de Lászlo

Post Wheeler[1] has handed me your letter of the 13th of May, in reference to the exhibition of Mr. Page’s portrait [6498],[2] and to the copy [111838] of it which you so kindly agreed to make, according to arrangements made with Mr. Harvey[3] before he went to America. We should be quite willing to allow this portrait [6498] to be exhibited with your other works at the end of this month, and I will give directions that it shall be ready when you send for it on the 22nd of this month. As it is in the nature of Government property I feel that we should avail ourselves of your kind offer to bear all responsibilities and insurance.

Yours sincerely

Boylston Beal
